fuh...MIUI 2.3.4 by rdannar sure is damn pretty...

Gonna give rdannar's miui a go, have not tried any miui yet only the camera isn't working rite

guys, my home router is Innacomm W3400V Wireless Modem
i can use my laptop detect it but using x10 cant. i tried change the channel to 10, 11 also cant. any advise?

Reset the router already? as in full reset?

i jz hard reset only. i had to turn it off n on again only can connect to it.
eg : after i switch off n on the modem i can connect to the router using x10. after i turn off n on again the x10, i cant connect or detect the wifi anymore. i had to restart the modem.

yup only the camera is not working, to me camera feature is not that important as I'm not using it.....to make this rom even flies don't use the stock launcher, use GO Launcher EX....

MIUI is getting more popular nowadays with X10 users worldwide....
cant wait for the gingerbread version fully stable and functional....

and for those who doesnt know... should giv it a try..
it has lotsa preinstalled function that other roms need to get/buy from market, which sometimes doesnt really work...

i must say, its the best and fun rom ever for my X10 so far..

but if u hate Iphone style and look, then too bad...MIUI is inspired by iOS ... specially the dialler....

Oic, thanks man, I am currently trying to root my x10 but I am quite worry about the warranty stuff. I had discovered a software or a method to unroot it but I dont know whether it works or not. Any suggestion? Kinda excited to root it but not really dare to do

root will only do u good than bad..
if u ever need to revert back to standard (warranty claim), just do a repair using SEPC.. works evrytime...
so far, never heard phone goes kapoot because of root...

last i checkk, Z4root doest really work anymore.. but not sure if they hav latest version la..
cos i cannot find any reason to UNRoot yet...

How to repair using SEPC? as far as I know SEPC just can update the software to latest version. Lets say I am to root my phone, everyone says that I can restore using Xrecovery, but my question is I had already rooted before installing Xrecovery, how to restore to the unroot version?

Tried rdannar's GB MIUI for an hour just now, I must say its pretty impressive. Somehow I find WB's rom to be more responsive. Maybe the cache has not kicked in I need the camera so I'll stick with WB's rom for a little longer

to answer ur question, i suggest u read more on Flashtool 0.2.9.. this is wayyyyy better than SEPC...

flash the Global Generic 2.1.A.0.435.. But.. after that cannot use SEPC to repair lor.. I used this firmware.. because my phone is Orange Slovakia.. So had to flash, instead of using SEPC.

Well how to check whether my phone is orange, global, UK, SingTel? Is it that just flash the Generic will restore to stock firmware d??

No extra settings as far as I know. The APNs will be added automatically. Just tick 'Data traffic' and you're good to go

I don't use swype (tried it before and don't like it) so I don't know, I'm using Smart Keyboard Pro...so far the rom is stable and smooth just like wolfbreak's CM6 rom and cobrato's MIUI1.3.8v2 rom....

so, if people are wondering what the difference between 2.2 Froyo and 2.3 Gingerbread in terms of performance, I can say both are equal but from 2.1 to 2.2 or 2.3, there are a lot of difference....this is just my two cents...
