currently I am subscribing to Family/Movies/Sports/Mini....with HD services....let's say if I didn't do any upgrading before 11/7.....which package will they put me in? fyi, I am a chinese and use to subscribe to dynasty and AOD!
I only have a normal b.yond right now and if I choose SP2, what happen to the PVR service which is included in the package? do I need to buy the new PVR decoder (at RM300/ RM150) even though I don't want this services?

we already have subs in mandarin for StarMovie and Malay subs in OneHD, what's so hard about providing the subs to other HD channel as well....?
IPTV will provide 5.1 channel in sounds....wondering when the b.yond start theirs? currently the sounds quality of Astro is too soft!

Astro force me take Super Pack 3

I no need the extra Astro on demand!

But only Super Pack 3 is worth as I need Dynasty + HuaHeeDai (this under emperor) Hmmm....

Now that i noticed, there's 2 blank space of Fun package on new package page on http://www.astro.com.my/mypackages/articles/art_5155.html

why u follow them? No need to take up their demand..just say no..they have no right to force2..all the packages are optional..so dont be bullied and stand up for ur rights..if u dont like SP3 then just call up and change..they have to listenn and follow what u want...

I wish Astro would launch Discovery HD World, ASSP 2 HD & Sundance Channel HD on 1st July, instead of 11th July.

just subscribed astro, and they cme for installation yesterday, sadly just realize they said my apartment cant use the dish, thts mean my package for HD cant anymore, any idea if i still want it?

YOur apartment uses centralised dish that is not-hd friendly, you'll have to persuade your apartment management to upgrade the centralised dish or allow you to install the black dish.

Yalo, no choice, we can't select only channel we want, it base on their group packaging.

Bro, I think all channels except Indo starts on 1/7/11 and billing begins 11/7/11, infact u can see 1st already in some channels marked under asterrisk*. It also seems that Metro pack has been reduced to RM8 !

also failed to convince my parents to upgrade SP1.. its ok, rather than have movies, i rather have metro pack..

currently i have= family+3mini+HD services.. maybe will add SP soon~

I paid my subscription all the way till Dec-. So what is Astro going to do? Switch my package? Charge me more?

I only needed Dynasty and Learning but don't see that combination without paying for others that I don't need.

anyone notice under the new structure, CH 575, History HD is gone!

btw, when will the new structure come into broadcast?

will the half price subscription of the second decoder still maintain even if the second decoder is a SD decorder ( the main is a PVR decoder )?

currently, i am on HD + recording +family + dynasty + 2 mini + sport, if i dun call astro to select my choice, wat will astro do to my subscription?

current billing structure, rm110.95(Family+2mini+Sports+Dynasty) + second decoder rm55.50 + PVR rm10 + HD service rm20 + Gov Tax rm11.19 , total = rm207.60

i had to relocate my dish. unfortunely i got no signal after remove it. the thing is everything the same except 3 feets away from original location. should i call astro to reallign? with new pricing next month, demotivate to call them........

I think Astro will not switch your package.....you will be pay more according to your current selected channel

If you don't change you will pay more....unless you cut down some of the channel you don't want

On their FAQ it says

"New HD channels and more to come
Discovery World HD, Sundance HD, a Sports HD channel and more movies in HD ".

Does that mean a new HD movie channel?
