new here... just a quick nOOb question..
i just got the astro beyond HD and astro technician say have to wait 15 mins to get the HD channel..
after 30 mins i on my tv(already connect HDMI cable) n switch on astro beyond and wait a longer..... then ppooofff my channel not to be HD..it just the same like SD =.=

Bro the hd channel differentlah. the original sd channel still there and add new channel. let say axn on 701 and hd is 71+. u try....

Anyways, I thought it was MTV-N that is supposed to be HD (and it looks HD to me). TvN is different channel, afaik never advertised as HD,

I don't think you can do that at the moment

call astro to request such feature, tell them that you want to backup your recorded video to external USB hard drive

Asstro still still not fix simultaneously recording problem on external HDD PVR.

I thought external HDD pvr is not that stable.

Looks like no delay +1hour between HBO & HBO HD, for now. Also, ch.318 is "renamed" as My music video.

the built in PVR are good enough! no problem so far!

Btw, yesterday I took a chiesel to the wikipedia article and delete all the coming soon entries. Cannot tahan thinking about it anymore. I left Nick Jr behind tho.

Exactly as that song says- wishing and hoping won't help. The correct thing to do is to call them and ask for the channels. If only 10 people call and ask and others only wishing and hoping then they won't hear, thinking it's only a small group and there's no big loss. If 1000 people call Astro and ask, then they will start to realize it's serious business.
