Get UNIFI and start download movies or dramas from the net. I have more than 100 movies in my usb harddisk. Each movie size minimum 5GB and maximum 17GB. Don't waste your time on Astro Movies or Dramas. The only reason I subscribed Astro Beyond or Astro was because of it's sports channel......

Hi All,

Wanted to ask about the Byond package.
Last week the Astro Installer(I suspect), he called my mom and offered a new package, paying RM150 permonth with most of the TV Channels(those celestral also) available instead of my current Package + RM20.
But the offer wasn't in Astro web. Does anyone heard bout that offer before?

it was I think from astro marketing department, RM155 superpack for byond PVR customer only, package includes 3 minipacks+dynasty+emperor+VOD+movies+sports+HD service fee+PVR recording fee

hahaha..easier said than done..I would be doing the same thing like u..subscribe Astro only for the sports package since they hold the rights and then subscribe Unifi for all the other stuff..but is Unifi nationwide? Thats the main concern and problem many are facng right now..unless u are residing in the 'orang kaya' area, TM is at crawling pace expanding their services..and some have been on the waiting lists for months..so what does that leave us with?

So many channels on Test,I guess thier In House channels may all go HD soon cos there are too many promotions to switch to Beyond!

On the other hand, Star World ch.711 and Animax ch.715 subtitle is selectable. No longer hardcoded subtitles.

interested with your comment....if so, they still will be condemn....people are always not satisfy!but, i think they should make in house HD la...then producer will feel the heat rite, they should produce better film quality....but, this thing someday will come....

one more thing, please look again with al-hijrah channel! crop properly please! people are so fat in there!

Imagine if Al Hijrah stretch 4:3 to 16:9 and then crop to 14:9 letterbox to 4:3 and then stretched again to 16:9 by users...
I already addresed this issue to al hijrah via their facebook, i wonder if they will listen

finally got chinese subtitle~~
but star world altough it got soft subtitle still never improve that channel quality(sometimes star world appeared some pixellete or marco block while we watching, even in commercial[except astro owned commercial])

Also, E! ch.712 & Zee Variasi ch.108 subtitle is selectable too.

Probably only regular programme that have subtitle.

today i heard era also said astro has new package...
check their website, its nothing there~

On Awani, they said Astro will revamp their package offerings on 11 July, introducing 2 new packs....

Maybe ala carte packs wld be added ?! Maybe sport pack 2 ?!
