Hi guys, i have registered to upgrade to beyond PVR but I gone thru some of the post here stated that there will be some problem after the decoder have reboot...because my family is sort of green family so we will turn off the power of that decoder when we are not using...is that gonna bring problem for us???
*
no problem for me so far. i leave it on standby only when i hv a recording scheduled.
if i see that there's none scheduled, i'll still switch it off.. especially when i'm away from the house.

Yes, you can whistling.gif
But do you guys noticed that in the manual of the PVR it has mentioned that don't always simply switching off your decoder or else it can be caused some faults to the hard disk doh.gif

Just got my Beyond installed yesterday after upgrading to Superpack which costs RM153 + 6% per month. However did not want the PVR as it costs RM150 but the issue is not money but the extra cabling which I do not want to add and make my house messy. Now enjoying the HBO screening in HD biggrin.gif

Yeah it might be useful but then many of the shows is repeating so can live without it... smile.gif
Anyway so far so good, all HD channels appearing nicely and no lost signal as our forummers here reported *touchwood*.

the purposed of repeat shows are sometime useful...not everyone can watch their fav show at same time...so they can record it & watch later....or watch some other time when they repeat the show some other day....for RM 150...i guess its worth to upgrade to PVR....later price will increased to rm300....at the end of the day is the users choice.... nod.gif
