ME: Hi, I received an email from HSBC that my card is on the way. Can I check with you whether that email is a scam email?
HSBC: Hi Mr. , actually HSBC do not send any emails for such notifications. But I can check for you if you want to?
ME: Yes, please. That's why I'm calling the Customer Service!
HSBC: Oh, our record shows that your card is read y and on its way. It means that email that you received is a valid email from HSBC! Don't worry about the email now!
ME: Alright, then when it will arrives? Normal mail or PosLaju?
HSBC: Oh, it's a Platinum and therefore we are using normal mail and you will receive it within 10 working days!
ME: Platinum using normal mail? Then which card using PosLaju?
HSBC: The Visa Signature, Mr.
ME: Gold using stamps??
HSBC: No, normal mail too.
ME: OK!!

some would say it's more convenient if you have no one at the delivery address.
I guess you still need to call HSBC to activate the HSBC CC received
