Have you booked the room? I did book with Agoda last year using my HSBC VS thru the link and got the discount after I key in the Bank.

It is because you never read my articles and have not been following the previous BT Thread I have been warning others 2 years back not to do BT with HSBC. And Bro, are you not a HSBC agent??

the Agoda offer is for all hotel that can be book with Agoda isn't it or for some hotel only? Yes i already booked and paid, im using HSBC Amanah Visa platinum btw

the Agoda offer is for all hotel with agoda and you get the discount provided that you book via hsbc link here.

However, I noted the link above says all HSBC credit card but if you read carefully it did not state Amanah i credit card, so call CS and ask if Amanah cards are entitled to the discount to reconfirm.

Better do extra homework when CC claims offering good rates for hotel bookings.

It's applicable for all hotels in Agoda. And as Gen-X said, you must access the Agoda website via HSBC Home&Away landing page or else you won't get any discount. And your HSBC Amanah issued credit card is entitled for all Home&Away privileges and this includes the Agoda discount

i already visited the Agoda via the link given in Home & Away, in fact i enter it 2 to 3 times to make sure got discount but i did't get it , i don't know what i've done wrong

I just tried using my mom's canceled HSBC Amanah VISA and the discount was reflected after I keyed in the card number. Not sure why you can't see the discount

Just noticed that HSBC does not provide auto annual fee waiver for 12/24 transactions made.

Anyway, do try it again. And this time, try to go to the site step by step. Meaning, look up for Home&Away website through google, don't set your country. Then look for Agoda. I tried it and the discount did turn up after I keyed in the HSBC Amanah credit card no.

read few pages back, it was reported by another member he was charged annual fee and CS told him no more auto waiver!!! I did call up HSBC CS and told they still have the 12 swipes auto waiver.... so I got to wait till next year to find out.

But you refer to Amanah website, still have the auto waiver back then.

The discount will only show AFTER u key in ur cc numbers include the VIN.

i applied for HSBC Amanah Platinum... just got the card today WITH a conventional GOLD Mastercard... Why did they send me a card that i didnt apply for?
