hi everyone,
based on hsbc, it's scam email. really stress!
what happen?
11.30 a.m. - someone called my home and verify residential address
12.00 p.m. - email saying approve with links[SIZE=7]
1.47 p.m. - call center said no records
7.45 p.m. - call center said no records and they said they don't notify people via email.
think about it, when i submit application i didn't put in my email address. But my email is linked up with my savings account.
This is so risky! i wonder is internal job maybe!
Can anyone here confirm HSBC actually sent out email when an application is approved?

im a student. why can't talk about privileges as i'm also using the card? like you don't talk about advantages of cars when you are a student??
after i do some research, i found out that this card has not much benefits besides the waived of annual fees and other charges so i don't have to pay anything if i don't use it. i'm not going to spend alot with this cards so reward points seem useless for me.
in my case, i prefer a card which comes with free stuff, like free entry to airport lounge, so i can get some benefits from it even i seldom use the card. i think alliance platinum card has this kind of benefits.
Like you mentioned your Parent don't have Alliance Account - if they do and willing to make a deposit jointly with you above RM200K, you can be issued the Alliance Premier Debit Card, but the card only grants you free entry to LCCT Plaza Premium Lounge and not KLIA. How I know? My son has it and he can enter LCCT PPL with his Alliance Premier Debit Card. Same case should apply to RHB Premier Debit Card where under 18 are eligible for it, and this card better, it grants you access to KLIA and LCCT. But if your parents were to just go deposit RM200K with Alliance or RHB, they'll be earning less from FD if they were to go with other banks. So, in conclusion, it's not what card you prefer but what card your parent can issue you
Secondly, the Priority Pass Membership Card for entry to overseas airport lounge is only issued to the Principal Card Holder. For KLIA Plaza Premium Lounge, only Principal Cardholder are entitled to the Free Entry (maybe except for Citibank - can't remember correctly what was reported at Airport Lounge Thread). So, if you are 21 years above, go open a
Premier or Priority or Privilege Banking Account and you can be issued a Principal Credit Card and get the Priority Pass Membership Card too
Also take note, some Supp cards are not entitled to the Free Travel Insurance.
