Salim, I forgot how to install miui as you mention. Can u guide me to install. I am using singapore set

if u already ROOT..
its quite simple already.

1. just install 2nd init 1.4 and follow its instruction step by step as the apps ask.
( disable USB Debugging and reboot 2 times.)
Newer 2nd Init no need reboot, but i stil using 1.4 coz other version not always work for me

2. then just do as below

3. Boot into Custom BootMenu by pressing volume down when device flashes a blue led at bootup. Set default boot mode to 2nd init.
4. Select Recovery, Custom Recovery. Choose "Wipe Data/Cache" option. Let finish.
5. Choose Install .zip from SD Card, select the MIUI roms .zip and let it finish.
6. Let the rom boot for first time.
7. Done! Enjoy!

JUST DONT FORGET TO WIPE DATA/CACHE/FACTORY/ DALVIK FOR GOOD.

if u successfully installed 2nd init
just reboot phone and after wait when M logo and blue LED, press vol down
that wil take u into custom recovery

help i cannot find miui rom reboot get stuck at moto logo!!

try wait for 6-7 min 1st.
if still cant after 10min,
just pull out battery, press Vol Down+ power
and wipe data/reset
try again

now at stock rom. btw must download miui rom first then reboot zninit and flash??

(vol up+power)

my widget somehow cant determine my position everytime.. im running cm7 beta6.. any solution? error says, error determining geolocation...

all custom ROM already ROOTed

i also somehow prefer SwiftKey. i find that Swype is ok if you're only using English, but if rojak, gonna be difficult. we Malaysia what aslo whack masuk, so better use SwiftKey. I still have Swype installed.

salimbest83 is the current resident sifu...good work guiding the new ones!!
