for full flash.. better charge full battery and download the file u need 1st.

Guys can any of you give a comparison between LiquidArc and cm7? For me most important is battery life. And can I install the second innit and the cm7 zip directly from LiquidArc or do I have to follow all the steps? I have flashed already 3.4.3.-11 UK.

for sure CM7 is faster.. and this bete6 battery life better. ( users' comment, not my view )

and just skip the step of rooting or 2ndinit if already done/ exit.

if i want to go to other rom as liquidArc,
do i need to revert to stock motorola rom ( which one should i go )

Sorry my bad I was not clear enough. I installed 3.4.3 before LiquidArc. Now I want to know if I can go on from here and install 2nd innit and than cm7 or should I restore or even flash again 3.4.3

bro, dont give up lah, you can still run CM7...after run CM7, install gapps.zip as well. as for getting the contacts from sim card, try to search the market for the apps. i forgot which one was it, cos i had my contacts saved in a sim, or was it in a .csv file, then import from there. you need to install gapps to have market and google sync and stuffs, but some ppl dont use, so the google experience is optional for them


install 2nd innit and then wipe data/cache then install cm7 and gapps.zip

I'm waiting for Jboogi3's CM7 Rom. Who was it that was beta testing for him? Any updates?

try clearing the dalvik cache in the boot menu(press vol down + power, when the greed droid comes up, press both vol up and down together)

YAY!!!finally get my bricked defy back to life!! with cm7 beta6!!!
and i can say i L.O.V.E it!!!!
it's damn fast, smooth and can be tweaked to optimize it's performance easily...
for me camcoder not working, screen dark and force closes too(can't find camcoder app in the app drawer also...)
gps seems hard to fix..not sure agps work for me yet...just tried just now with no fix...
what i like is most is the power control widget...and the screen on/off animation is damn cool!!

all my dates are showing without the "/" or "-" like 16 5 11 instead of 16/5/11 or 16-5-11

btw, to those running on CM7, heres a quick tip. Go to DSPManager(in your app list) -> headset -> Bass Boost ON and set strength to moderate.
