Pairing with monitor audio then is better to go with arcam. British made will fit british all the way smile.gif

Well, you are right, that's why I am happy that an old NAD 3020i drive Wharfedale Diamond 122 very good. But the reputable Marantz should be able to handle almost any bookshelf speakers? rolleyes.gif

Why not search for used 10.1 in KL. It will be around 600-700 range

I feel that 9.1 is better than 10.1... I regret selling my 9.1

Well no doubt about Marantz able to handle the speakers. Is just the sound signature will be different. Maybe you should listen to it first before deciding.

I will say generally music should sound as natural as possible. We should listen to it as what the creator of the music meant for us to listen. With all this signature add is like altering the music. Of course everyone like their music differently.

Perhaps you can consider mINT,

https://wyred4sound.com/products/integrated-amps/mint

to me, they have really good bang of the buck, but most importantly, they sound really really good.

I particularly like the small footprint which I can hide it inside the cabinet.

If going to buy MINT, it's a better choice to consider Arcam FMJ A19 hmm.gif

Both are good amps. It all depends on what do you want.
If you streamed digital music, looking for space saver, you go with the mINT.
If you have lot of analog source, your go for A19.

But the former give you 100w per channel, built-in dac, lot of balanced connectors, and much lower THD.
Most importantly, it is direct sale, no excessive mark-up. Of course, this tarnished by weak ringgit today.

For such small device, 100W delivery is a doubt, I think logically it should be 50W instead, at 8ohm?
