Hi. I'm looking for a record player a.k.a. turntable. Secondhand is fine but it must be in 100% good working condition. My budget is around RM300-RM400. Thanks.

I have this question in my head for a long time.
What affordable/good speaker could I pair with a TA2024 amp(15w), the speaker must be affordable since the amp is so cheap.

Let me rephrase, any passive speaker that could Ta2024 T-amp within RM400??

A 'high efficiency' speaker rated at least 86dB/W/m. The higher, the better.
I am using a floorstander rated at 90dB/W/m. thumbup.gif
Don't know if you can get any at RM400. Tough but not impossible.

I had went to test the system today, below is the spec:

Onkyo TX-SR508 + JAMO S606HCS3 (SenQ)

and I quite interested in:

Pioneer VSX820K + Pioneer S31 (No chance to test)

Price almost the same, so still cant decide yet ^^''

Salesman said that Onkyo is better than Pioneer...but i not sure...

Can anyone give idea...

Hi all, yesterday i went to S.Wang and suddenly pass by a Hi-Fi Shop named A&L Audio Station. I tell the seller that previously i was interested on 2.1 speaker and now interested to start play 2.0 audio and ask him about recommendation. My budget is around RM2000 and he recommend me Dali Lektor 1 Bookshelf Speaker or PSB Image B5 BooKshelf Speaker plus NAD C315 Integrated Amplifier. So, what do u think about the speaker and the amp? I have totally no idea about the speaker brand as i can said i totally new here...so will be very unfamiliar with those brand..

so guys,please advise me...

Dali is from Denmark. PSB is from USA i think but made in China?

NAD is a quite an established name in hifi. Good choice.

You should audition both speaker and choose the one you like better.

hi guys, i am totally new in this area and i would like to set up a sound system for my room.. mainly at night for listening to soft music, preferably surrounding the whole room and put at the ceiling.. might need some drilling to hide the wires

budget around 2-3k

Edit ; will wireless be a better option? and will it affect the sound quality? (how to provide power to the speakers then?)

i'm open to all options including just having little speakers around my room. main thing is i need a fairly decent system to listen to music for relaxing/sleep
