Some if not most AV receivers can accommodate 6 ohm speakers by having 4-8 ohms speaker driving range..
You just need to find out which one is in your price range. Good luck ! QUOTE(mpowerwind @ Nov 17 2009, 12:04 AM) Hi every pro here, i need some recommendation from you all. I have a pair of hi-fi speaker which is 6 ohm per speaker, The question is can i connect my speaker to AV Receiver, at least which one can match with my speaker. My budjet is around 1.5k, prefer listening some tight bass and soft music. Thank you |

That picture alone is enough to discourage any DIY wannabes..
Otherwise it's messy and looks dangerous at best.. To the uninitiated, a complete 'turn off' This post has been edited by jazzy939: Apr 7 2010, 06:58 AM |

A 'high efficiency' speaker rated at least 86dB/W/m. The higher, the better.
I am using a floorstander rated at 90dB/W/m. Don't know if you can get any at RM400. Tough but not impossible. |

A reasonably high efficiency ones! 86db/W/m or more, although no harm if using less than that provided you don't 'blasts' your music often...
