How can I check my data allowance usage?
You may check your balance by dialing *118# on your mobile phone. Select "U Broadband", and then select "Check Usage".
Alternatively, subscriber may send a SMS by typing in "DATA" and send to 28118

How to check the quota used on UMI(18/28/38/48)
NOTE: Before we start, do note that there is a charge of RM 0.05(5 cent) for this checking service
1. Type "Data"(without the quotes) and send it to 28188
2. It will show you your current data plan(UMI 18/28/38 or 48), quota used(current usage) and your total quota.

p/s: "data"(without the quotes) works as well, but by default in our keyboard application the first letter is a capital letter which works as well so why waste more energy to do the same thing? laugh.gif

yes... my fren has the issue also with the RM28 internet plan... when inside house... no line at all only celcom network! i guess its still new and its super cheap tats why... value for every buck haha

yup. actually happens in klang valley... when he's under a building... the 3g juz goes off
have a feeling there is still a lack of the 3g towers on umobile's side
but then... no complains when youre at the open space

today monday... sat n sunday they wun mnp so juz be patient:)

if im not wrong i overheard the termination days to be at 3months from the employees at umobile. need a lil clarification on that.

seems to be solved? as i know... usually its the phone that changes from 2g to 3g thinking that the connection is stronger... when the phone does that and the call is in progressing
the line will lagg or be dropped...
umobile to umbile is free calls now... once drop... call again mah hahaha

im quite sure that u did not pay your bills for 1year and the plan keeps on running. i have a feeling u went for the expensive plan.

maxis hasn't done that... umobile hasn't told me too

i was wondering... cause when i read the news saying that it will be an addiotional RM.6 from the customer's pocket... then i was thinking... RM10.60? then reload agents need to keep coins already!

do note that if u were to use the phone as a modem... the RM28 plan will not work. u need to apply for the broadband plans as listen on the website.
RM68 if im not wrong.
and depending on which phone u using... but speeds will not be 14.4mbps
as phones these days dun support till 14.4 yet!
