The Dec mth MNP is very slow as a lot of users Ported into UM, hence the backlog.

Prepaid UM simcard is 2G/3G, hence nokia 3210/3310 can use

Postpaid UM simcard is 3G ONLY, so u need atleast a 3G fon to use it , like Nokia 6630 ( no video call fon also can)

its like dat as MNP into UM is the slowest cause there are scores of new MNP application eveyday, but once u receive the sms, it will be fast

u can call 018-3881318 , but the CS will tell you that your porting is not in the system yet if u dun receive sms fr UM yet

basically, some UM staff are from DiGi , they crossed over to Umobile because the pay is much better

yes, MB40 can be used with voice call, provided you hav credit in your account, but unlimited internet (U28-prepaid) cannot be subscribed with MB40

if you dun need the voice and text, just subscribe for MB15, its 15 days of data @ rm15 for 500MB and u can renew it on day16, i am not sure this hav auto renewal, i will find out for you tomorrow when i resume work.

MB15 can roam on celcom but its slow , only GPRS/Edge speed.

i am not too sure on the MB15 roaming as i finish my quota in less than 10days doing speedtest alone on UM3G

Yes, you are rite. so its U28 Prepaid for your need than, btw, come Q3-2012, we can roam on Maxis in non UM3G area like Kedah/Perlis

U28 prepaid can roam on Celcom2G for data.
