currently my core i3 530 is OCed from 2.93 to 3.86 with these settings


Multiplier 22x
Blc Frequency 175
DRAM Frequency 1750Mhz

CPU Voltage 1.25
IMC Voltage 1.15
DRAM Voltage 1.65
CPU PPL Voltage 1.80
PCH Auto

is these settings ok? im js scared tat i might be overvoltage, and another thing is my RAM's stock speed is 1333Mhz how far can i push it, how to noe if i hav reached d limit?, sori neebie here but i have done most of the OC part by myself just need some advice on tis matter, thx

is your ram running at 1:1? if not then make it be 1:1

i'm quite confusing here, is it true can overclock a laptop? acer with the processor i5,i7? as long i know, asus g73jh and jw can overclock.. i dont know about other laptop.

My RAM is rated for 1600 so I put it to 1600 and leave it there... I just oc-ing proc now...

should i get anymore add on to make my cpu cooler like ram cooler or additional fans? & anymore u wanna know bout my rig?? just need some opinion n advise.. million thanks

i dont think v8 is the best cooler but it is a reasonable cooler. and your haf has good airflow too. i say u can easily oc to 3.6-3.8 with this setup. just make sure your ram to fsb ratio is 1:1. easier to oc

do i need a specific cooler to overclock i5-2500k to 4.5ghz?

not really sure about i5 2500k. but 4.5 is sweet.. btw u shud follow the sandy bridge oc thread

i heard many great oc news on e5200.
is the last batch of E5200 cpu using SLB9T R0 stepping?
i just bought myself a biostar G31m+ mobo.
in the cpu support list, SLB9T is not mentioned. only QFHQ is mentioned.
will the mobo support it?

Hi guy...i'm trying to overclock my e2160 (1.8ghz) using jumper method with alluminum Link...it works....1.8ghz ~ 200(default) now 2.4ghz~266(OC)

CPU : Dual Core e2160 (1.8hgz)
Mobo : Foxconn 45CMX
Ram : 4GB ddr 800
GC : ATI Radeon HD4850 256bit 1GB DDR5

after im oc my cpu i got a problem with my GC...maybe something wrong with PCI-E bus...if im using built video it can boot normally...if i set to PCI it wont boot.....help me pls....sorry bad english.
