btw, i've got a unused small tube of Zalman's thermal paste. you can hav it for free

i did. i just found my tube of el-cheapo vantec thermal paste that came with my Vantec Iceberq fan. it was meant for GPU. but what the heck, i just applied on my CPU. seems like no difference

I guess it's pretty seldom we'll still be using a 7 year old processor. Most apps would be too taxing at that time for it.
