Precisely why Wiltord is one of Arsenal's unsung heroes IMO. Usually made the scapegoat when things don't go our way just because he is not a "fan favourite".

I doubt I can ever forget Wiltord though. That goal he scored when we won 1-0 at Old Trafford to seal the title was sweet plus throughout his tenure with us has scored some really really crucial goals. Overall he has had a very decent and solid career with us and to forget him its like forgetting that we won the title at Old Trafford that year.

Sylvinho went to Celta Vigo first before eventually joining Barca, unlike the other mentioned players who went directly.

Wiltord... it's hard to remember him as an Arsenal legend despite being a fairly important player for us during his career. Maybe it's due to the fact that he never managed to outshine Thierry Henry, nor did he fully replace the aging Dennis Bergkamp. Did decently yet nothing spectacular when he cameoed on the right side, and most people would remember Freddie or even Parlour as our right sided midfielder instead of Wiltord. His then-record transfer fee and post-Euro hype didn't help things either.
