Don't dare put 6000k. As road block all the time near my working area.

Anyone test the car higher rpm on "s" gear wit econ mode off?

I think my gearbox having problem edi.
The max can go is around 5,900 rpm only.
Last time i can go til 6,500++ rpm.

Fxxk dunno wat happen.

Could you explain more on your car jerking issue? What do you mean by that? it is while driving jerking, or start stop jerking? when floor on the peddle jerking? when the CVT shift gear jerking?

start stop jerking i can accept but other i cant. i need their explanation.

cvt shift to higher gear is ok.. but wen shift to lower gear den u feel jerking.

Perhaps it is because that u have redlined it that often (even during break-in period?)?

Maybe your car are not used to slow driving anymore

you should take extra precaution on the CVT. This sounds like a CVT problem or the fly wheel problem where by the previous honda city with cvt was facing.

CVT gear box is very very sensitive and need to have extra car compared to a conventional 5 speed AT. CVT only can use honda CVTF ( gear oil) do not use other brands.

Previous Honda city with CVT, cost of replacement is around 12 to 14K. your car is still under warranty. so better send it back to honda to have a full checking before is too late.

you can google on Honda City CVT problem....

please, CVT is not design for high rev performance. so please drive ur car like a city hybrid car.....

Hi all Insight owners.. I'm thinking to purchase Insight.
If everything okay will go and make booking tomorrow..

Got few question:
1) what's the waiting period if book now. I went to 3 diff honda dealers and all 3 giving me diff and :-S
2)The normal insight (without the bodykit) looks so-so.. How much will it cost me to install some bodykit. Sorry I'm totally noob abt cars. Dont want to modify "gila-gila".. Just to make the car look more attractive.
3)I read in one of the threads here (cannot remember if it's V1 or V2 that's you can protect your car from scratches. Anyone know what the product is called?
4)anything else i should know before booking.. Please do let me know. I'm buying car first time. Dont want to get tipu

Only few time touch the redline den cvt spoiled?? Den i u all should try before the warranty is out.


I still remember the issue happen before i 1st time touch the redline. And i nvr change gear oil before.
Well i wil force them to replace new gear box for me in this 2month.

Wah so late? My SA said July/Aug can get. Other SA said Sept/Oct .. Another one said 6 months.. So I'm quite confuse why so different .. Not so rush. I still have my old car..

coz atm there are no words from Honda Malaysia on the resume of car delivery from Japan to Malaysia. They are still affected by the order back log after the Tsunami.

Even the manual says that there will be negative effect on your car. you may even void your warranty if they found out about that ( if i remember correctly I think I read that in the warranty card terms & conditions)

no la, i got the problem after 1.6k +++ den test drive with sa, even the sa also try at high speed rpm at my car, and also demo car.

the warranty "void" only apply to those no connection/"kam cheng" with sa.

but i still feeling the cvt having problem , i jus sakit hati cos they hav to operation my car

haha, its ok, i can take it ... as I am waiting for my torchlight now lol

I believe the outskirt branch waiting list will be veen shorter.

At the end of the day, it really depends on the reproduction in Japan. Like some bros' advise, if you need it urgently, better opt for different models.
