are you planning to pay off the expenses for the repair or claim insurance?
If my memory serves me right, the service advisor told me that the bumper for Honda Insight would cost at least 2K and above
so, if the damage is not major, perhaps you may consider to knock and respray the parts rather than replacing it

Ahhh..I like and enjoy DIY. Hehe as usual I dont like others to touch my car. As long anything that I could do it myself, I will do it. Like the other day I sent for 1st service, SA asked me "car wash?" I said NOPE!

all insight member, pls make a complain to ur sc about ur car jerking when accelerating, slow down, break or bla bla bla...

i tested few car include the demo car in sc found dun hav this issue. issue happen while ur car speed up from 8kmh to 30kmh or 30kmh go down to 18kmh.

the sc ppl said they still dunno wat issue and cannot give any answer.


and another issue, when the car auto off for a while,den back to normal, hav the air-con giv any weird smelly?? if yes, request them replace new air-con filter.

No jerking on mine..so far only face jerking once, when engine is cold and the IMA assist comes in

Cramp u mean? Yeah! it's very small especially the head room. For a tall person like me 6 feet 1 cannot sit behind. I may hurt my neck.

Yes, i also had that problem. my car almost 3 month, the air-cond smell not nice.

Below some of item that i will raise for my 5k service next week.
- The gear level not tight can move ~1cm
- To touchup paint on minor scratch on rear body just above right rear tyre.
- Those smelly things from air cond (Change filter?)
- Those jerk that you guys spoken, i also thought that is normal (something like sudden lost of power )

they not sure wat the problem, but they tested their demo unit. no problem at all, so guys, pls update this issue to ur sa for next service...

due to my gf driving to her company daily with jam jam jam, so the car was jerk lik hell... mostly slow down speed and car changing gear from 3rd to 2nd and the 1st gear...


they tested mine... at 1st say is my car mat cause the problem... so i goin to take off the mat use until 5k service and request them to replace.

80% city(speed max 70-80)
20% highway (speed 110-130)

17kmh/1L

I had check with my SA this afternoon, he told me, I will receive my Insight maybe on August if there no problem on delivery . There no car deliver from Japan since April. I book my Insight on 7 March. Any friends entire state face this problem or any news/update from your state SA?

Aiyohh... i also face the same problem. My SA is even hampeh...he dont even know when they can get Insight from Japan for their stock. So if this is true then we face the same fate la to get the car in next two or three month.
My SA promises to get the car in shorter time by way of "potong queue" also cannot believe anymore since no stock all over the nation rite now.
BTW i booked on 19th March.
