QUOTE(limbryan @ May 11 2011, 06:18 PM)
Hi bro,

for those potential buyers, they may consider on the interest rate. usually for used car is higher than brand new one. my friend who brougth the car recently and interest rate is 4.XX%. besides of interest rate, the reselling value will be effect when they wanna sell off this car after couple of years due to they are not the 1st user who use this car.
*
So they better get new one unless they loan 50k for 3-5 years, interest rate is only 3.3% from PBB. If they intend to get 90% loan and 9 years then better get a new car or buy something else.

Also, u need to deduct the insurance which is not transferable.
98-3k ~95k, if you want to sell at 90k++ That's not very plausible as well.
So definitely, you wont find a taker at 90k, unless really need car.

If you want to sell, you sell it now, wait a few more months, new cars will be coming in back, insight ETA news from honda msia is 4, 5 months from now, sure will have car. And come january 2012 time, you'll really see the 20% sink in.

So insight owners, 20% depreciation for the first year, you guys regret now? LOL...I didnt know insight has the worst resale value for cars under 100K.

Maybe those who didnt buy insight yet should wait until january 2012, you can save 20K man, and if you bargain hard, maybe can get one for 70K, and if those desperate sellers, 65K maybe, you can save 30K.

car depreciation is an obvious reality for any car you buy... so it doesn't matter to me how much the depreciation is.

i bet 95-99% of new IN2 buyers won't sell the car off within the first 2 months, so it makes no difference to us what % depreciation is on car value.

today @ my office carpark, so funny - as i was walking to my car going out for lunch, got one group of guys/girls crowding around my car look here look there... thought WTF... someone banged me!

rush over, then realized they have never seen hybrid before (betui2 sua ku haha)... spent the next 15 mins patiently explaining how hybrid engine works, what's the avg FC and running costs + features of this magnificent CBU.

think after work, some of them sure rush to Honda showroom to see. too bad no more showroom units on display. hmmm.. i should ask H start H Ambassador Program, and earn commission smile.gif

Its to low if you ask me. Its normal buyer will try to squeeze to get the lowest price, i bet you can get more than 85k if you try hard enough. The situation its like we squeeze from our SA to get free give & discount coz we are the buyer tongue.gif
