I always quit and then take a break; then only find a new job.

In my last interview I met a China boss who emigrated to Singapore. The Chinaman boss's English was seriously "jialat".

Anyone got any crazy interview stories to share? biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif

not really crazy...
but shortest interview ever...
less then 10 minutes then the manager straight greet me..."welcome on board"
ask me 3 question only...

Just be careful with those companies which do not have a good interview process and procedure. The interview process can potentially reflect culture of the company. I have experienced it. When I got into this company, the interview process is relatively easy and not much question asked. When I joined the company, I really got a culture shock. Maybe we should ask more questions to the future boss as well.

I checked Yahoo... S$ is >RM2.40 this morning. Interest rates for savings accounts should go up. Property buyers with heavy loans should seriously re-evaluate their holding power.

Mustafa is in Lil India near to Bugis. It's a place to buy things 24X7. Crowded most of the time. Not recommend to go there during the weekend. It's one of the most crowded place I have seen in SG!

Watch drama, play dota or come into SG find my aunty lor. And go back KL since i got car and can drive back anytime. hahaha.

Bishan area speak canto? not sure la but my aunty stay in Bishan and we speak canto (coz we are Malaysian). Even my uncle is a Singaporean and i speak canto with him coz used to it already since very young when i still in KL, we speak canto to each other. going out in SG is very expensive, and if we wanna go window shopping, SG shopping complex doesn't provide any bench for people to sit unlike Malaysia. So its not that comfortable as well.

Haha, I will just spend time in JB. The driving/Taxi/Bus in during weekday can be exhausting. So what I do is just to rest, rest and more rest. haha. By the way, did you find out any nice food in JB?

I do enjoy going to Junction 8 sometimes. I used to stay in Bishan before relocate to JB. Not much but quite relaxing spending time there and not as crowded as in Orchard Rd. Haha.. maybe we can meet up for yam char one of these day either in JB or in SG.
