Check your joven water heater, some model don't support external pump. My mom house using a Joven now, and have warning on the box do not use external pump.

Also if you have external pump, your instant water heater will not able to heat the water fast enough especially on rainy day.

ok, so i have 3 bathrooms, all 3 with joven instant water heater with DC pump.

1 of the bathroom has rain shower set that comes along with the instant water heater, the other 2 is just simple.

basically i want a water pump because my whole house water pressure is low.

Wanna ask are these water-pump waterproof ? I recently bought some unknown brand water-pump for 1.9k and found out its not waterproof ....and the only place i assemble it is out beside my water-tank

I always thought Grundfos is best pump coz can be seen selling everywhere. After i installed it, it is very good. Best water pressure. But recently after almost a year the pump now create a lot of noise. The pump On and Off every 2 mins even nobody open any water tap. I then call the Grundfos service personnel for checking. He told me nothing wrong with his pump and also prove to me that he turned off all water flowing point at all toilet and it didn't create any ON or OFF sound. I noticed each toilet has a water stopping cork and there is water dripping out as i turn it on. He told me possibly it is the dripping that coz the ON and OFF sound every 2mins. He told me to get it replace and see how later on. He suspect must be somewhere leaking that coz the sound. And i was charged Rm150 for advice because nothing wrong with the pump. After the technician left, i turn it ON slowly by not turning ON the pump, the water drip out few drops. Then as i ON the pump, the water drip out still few drops when. But if i turn the pump ON and then turn the cork, i can see a lot of water flowing out from the cork.

Now i have come across this forum and i suspect the pump really got problem like some discuss here with motherboard faulty. One of the former wrote down here saying he paid almost Rm500 to it repair.

Whoever have come across here i advised him or her not to buy this brand as it is not only costly but not durable at all. Their service some more expensive. When buying pump be extra cautious on the power. I think for a double storey house get anything below 3 bar psi.

Anybody who has come across this ON and OFF problem please give advise.
