I heard ppl normally if wanna install booster pump then choose instant without pump. If instant have pump too will affect your pvc piping because presure too strong.

The brand is called Euroflo, i'm not here to sell this pump...rather to create awareness of this brand and help more people understand about pumps. You can google search "Euroflo Pumps International" and see the whole pump range, Euroflo caters mostly to industrial pumps and they also have domestic pumps similar to Grundfos,Clazzen,CNP etc..

There's so many things about a pump that i can tell you....what would you like to know?

The most basic thing when choosing a pump is to test out the pump at the outlet(many established brands have a "demo unit").
Listen to the running sound level:- Quiet is defined by standing next to demo unit with the pump running near your feet and you cannot or can just barely hear a low pitch humming sound.
Noisy pumps are when you're standing next to it and can easily hear a high pitch motor turning sound...should avoid even considering this type of pump and just walk away.

Low grade pumps come with lousy bearings and low precision parts which generate a lot of noise, the life span of the pump will also be a lot shorter when the bearings fail, the motor will overheat(sometimes the motor will trip but most of the time the whole coil will burn). The cost of repairing will be at least RM400-600 plus labour for Penang market price.

A lot more things to explain, i dunno what tell for you guys

Yes, there are many brands which are good in the market but some are price on the higher side because of their "FAMOUS" brands. Also some are lousy brands which promise to be good...
GRUNDFOS is an example, it's a good pump...but think of this, if there's an equally good pump which is trying to penetrate the market with a much lower price, would you like to save some $$ and select that pump? If you have the budget then by all means pick a brand which u are comfortable with.

So far there are no product quality/warranty complains from customers for the past 2 -3 years that Euroflo started seling in Northern region, gotta check with my colleague for central and southern Malaysia.
There are some instances where the plumbers who fixed the pump did a really bad job and caused the pump to have problems, i will give you an example:-
Pump inlet : 1.25" & pump outlet : 1" standard....sometimes the plumber will pandai pandai connect a 3/4" or smaller pipe from storage tank to pump's suction connection. Basic rule of centifugal pumps: IT MUST HAVE FLOODED suction, that means there must always be enough water coming into the pump. Just like when you are sucking your drink with a straw, you fold the tip of your straw near your mouth to make it smaller and then suck with all your might...your face go red right?

The inlet piping must be the same size or bigger than the pump's inlet connection size.

No idea, i don't think GRUNDFOS publish in black and white the db for their CM...my guess will be 70db+
Wrong sizing of the pump will also cause noisy pumping..
