that is bcoz ur installer installed it at the beam near ur staircase. The vibration will transmit from the beam throughout your whole house. Another forumer "periwater" previously had this problem also, relocated her pump and now is OK d.

Most plumbers just simply find a place to install the pump without considering the best location to install. To reduce the noise, you nd to have a solid base for the pump to sit on but not on beam. Usually they will put a solid wood to support the pump

btw,my in law is looking for a pump for her 2 storey house,it has 4 bathroom without rain shower.any recommendation?price?

DO take a photo of the pump as well, and several photos of ur ceiling, we might b able to advise where to relocate the pump.

Is installed, but not fully tested. Resting nicely on the anti-vibration mat.

zheilwane, i'm using a CH-PT pump. If i switch off the power no water flows down anymore. Why is it? it was installed by my contractor during my house reno last year. Possible to rectify this issue?

The water tank is in roof (2 1/2 storey) and the pump is just located beside it.

It is impossible then. Water should flow through the pump even u did not turn on the pump. You will nd 2 snap some photos and show me or get ur plumber to check on the piping

Not mistaken the plumber has installed a Non-Return Valve at the outlet connection....
