that is bcoz ur installer installed it at the beam near ur staircase. The vibration will transmit from the beam throughout your whole house. Another forumer "periwater" previously had this problem also, relocated her pump and now is OK d. Most plumbers just simply find a place to install the pump without considering the best location to install. To reduce the noise, you nd to have a solid base for the pump to sit on but not on beam. Usually they will put a solid wood to support the pump Added on July 29, 2011, 4:29 pmQUOTE(weikee @ Jul 29 2011, 04:07 PM) Hehe.. How about asking them install in my house ,return to them 12 months later weikee, havent u installed the grundfos water pump that you bought from me several weeks ago? QUOTE(singhwa @ Jul 31 2011, 02:45 PM) The water tank is in roof (2 1/2 storey) and the pump is just located beside it. It is impossible then. Water should flow through the pump even u did not turn on the pump. You will nd 2 snap some photos and show me or get ur plumber to check on the piping
