Got it at JF Home, cheaper than many places. You can get it cheaper on shopee, around 1,330, something you get free shipping, some seller even sell below 1.3k

Replaced my ch2-50 with cm3-5pm1 pump, CH2 been running fine from Dec-2011 till early last year, than occasionally trip, need stop start, and after drag for 1y+, finally replace. Not bad for a pump with 0 caring for 7+1years

Hi experts, i have a question for grundfos water pumps. My friend is facing an issue with his tsunami pump. During the water rationing days few months ago, his water tank went dry and empty.
When water starts to re-fill the tank, the water pump will not automatically pump water. The user has to go up to the pump in the rooftop and manually press the reset button for it to work again. Does CM3-5 PM1 comes with auto-reset function? or do i still have to manually reset it? |

Guys,
I was thinking to put my water tank(single storey house) from roof to the ground. Question:- 1. Is Grundfos Scala 2 can leave outside(open area)? 2. Can it withstand with our weather climate? 3. What is the maximum hp? 4. Is the hp enough to boost water from ground to all bathrooms(2 bathrooms). Can't find it from the datasheet. Please advise. Thanks. |

Yeah I also assumed air in pipe/pump like water hammering everytime it started but back to normal after 1-2 sec of vibration. Feel very annoying. Called normal plumber checked and tightened, problem still not solved. U got any pro plumber contact to share? Thanks |

Hi water pump experts,
I owned a 2 storey house with 3 bathroom. I would like to ask a few question: 1. My house water pressure right now seems to be ok from the direct water to the kitchen sink, washing machine and also to fill up the tank at rooftop slab for now. The neighborhood only have half resident for now, and maybe by next year every resident will start living in the area, will it effect the water pressure to my house? 2. Both of my second floor bathroom have a very low water pressure, so everytime I need to take a shower I need to run downstairs for shower. A plumber recommend me to setup a waterpump at the rooftop near to the tank so that it can give more pressure to the water for my upstairs bathroom. After Ive done the power point for the rooftop suddenly he changed his mind and said that it is dangerous if I put a waterpump at the rooftop slab (it may flooded the area if the waterpump is broken) and hard to maintain. So Im kind of puzzled and trying to research if it is true that waterpump should not be at the rooftop or not because if its true then Ive wasted money from his previous recommendation. So It will be very much helpful if you guys can share your experience with me. 3. Other plumber suggest to bypassing direct water to the tank and used direct water all over the house and use only one waterpump at the car porch area which I cannot imagine on how the system works. Is it better this way? or I just put a waterpump at the rooftop is enough? 4. Was about to buy a hitachi water pump until I stumble into this forum, don't know about this brand but I wonder what is the best pump to cover a two storey house with 3 bathroom. Thank you in advance |

QUOTE(ZainRain @ May 9 2020, 10:08 PM) Hi water pump experts, Illegal to pump directly from main meter. From water tank then to pump then to washroom. I use grundfos scala 2 so I can adjust the pressure that I wanna run. If scared hard to fix, leak etc. then find a way to either go up to the water tank, or put the pump where you can access.
