Is it safe to use the Grundfos CM3-5PM1 on instant water heater?

I am using the Panasonic dh-3ndp1ms water heater with dc pump, but the pressure is still not satisfying tongue.gif

Panasonic water heater max pressure is around 380kPa (3.8bar)

Will it damage the water heater(and the built-in pump) if install the Grundfos pump along with the build in panasonic DC pump?

so far no issue with water pump bursting water heaters. if worry then get CM3-4pm1 or scala2 as advised by ianti.

for something more economical can also consider teral ab25x254tpc (similar spec as Cm3-4pm1)

It is also possible to limit the water pressure to the water heater using a regulator, right?

Wonder where we can get this kind of regulator hmm.gif

Never heard of home booster pump damaging instant water heater. By the way, you can adjust how much max pressure on the pump if you are worry. 3 bar is high but not very high. Some high rise building exceed 4 bars without pump and have to use pressure reducing valve. Imaging you have 40 floor building and the water tank is at the roof

My home booster pump now is 4bar, slightly above the max rating(3.8bar) for the water heater.

Maybe I will just sell off this booster pump and get a new Grundfos Scala 2.. smile.gif

it is called pressure reducing valve. you can search with lazada or just go to any hardware shop and buy it. It is adjustable. Just not sure if you have space to install it,

Hi experts, i have a question for grundfos water pumps. My friend is facing an issue with his tsunami pump. During the water rationing days few months ago, his water tank went dry and empty.

When water starts to re-fill the tank, the water pump will not automatically pump water. The user has to go up to the pump in the rooftop and manually press the reset button for it to work again.

Does CM3-5 PM1 comes with auto-reset function? or do i still have to manually reset it?

Using the cm3-5pm1, just had my water tank wash and refill...pump not working after re-fill tank, tried reset manually but still not working sad.gif
