hi!!guys i need all of yours help me....let me explain it...
I'm having a problem where my SD Card won't accept changes. I connect my micro sd to my computer via card reader/usb and drag items across (i.e. music) and these save fine, I can open them and listen to them from the micro sd.
However, once I put the SD card back into my phone, and the phone 'prepares the sd card', I then try to look for the new music and new files but they're not there. Its as if in 'preparing the sd card' it restores it to its original state before I added the music.
I've run error checking on the sd card, and even formatted it numerous times - on my computer it shows as being empty. But even so, once I load it back to the phone and it 'prepares the sd card', all of the files come back!
Anyone experienced the same and had a solution?
I'm having the same problem with a Xperia ARC S. I copy mp3s to phone using USB cable and the songs can be played from phone on PC. When I disconnect phone (having 'safely removed hardware', unmount SD card etc) and open music player, there is no sign of some of the albums and songs. When I plug the phone back into the computer, Windows explorer shows that although all the folders (ie album title) are there, most of them are empty. I've tried loading the card by using my camera as a card reader but the same thing happens - songs and photo can be played from the card , but when removed and installed in phone, the files are deleted. I have only noticed this problem today, and it coincides with installing a new (8GB SD HC) card.i change another sd card try and same things happen Any help much appreciated before I ditch Android, sell the phone and go for iphone

Guys, given the option between tab 7.7 vs 8.9, which one will you choose? Am considering both, the OMOLED on 7.7 looks like a steal, but not sure am comfy with 7.7 screen

Hi guys I'm thinking of finally buying an Android phone but one of my biggest concern is that the phone that I chooes won't be updated to the latest Android version by the phone makers. So I guess my question is, will I be able to buy a fairly decent Android phone (e.g. SGS 2, Xperia S, Galaxy Note or HTC One X) and install a plain version of the latest Android versions (i.e. the plain ICS on Galaxy Nexus)? Then should the next version come (Jelly Bean?) will I still be able to install that version into the four phones I've stated? I am not interested with the Galaxy Nexus purely because the camera does not meet my need of producing higher than average quality pictures, so if anyody would be able to give me their views I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks! This post has been edited by nubnub75: Mar 22 2012, 05:11 PM
