I can't be very sure on the rebate I got for my OCBC Titanium as there are several transactions that possibly giving me 1% rebate. Unable to pin point as there are few cents difference when I manually calculate and compare with the statement.

One of the possible 1% rebate that I can think off is my purchase at Guardian Taman Universiti Skudai. Maybe it is because for Guardian and Watson, their merchant code are not under Grocery Stores (MCC codes 5411, 5422 and 5451) as they may be considered as pharmacy.

Show us the transaction with amount + the actual rebate received and we can help you verify it

Let's see when can get SCB winner's letter for redemption ?
Definitely selling it over at Garage Sales.... and consider it as Cash-Back rebate for spending RM4000+ per qualifying month.

I like to hear from your experience. How many days does a bank need to process credit card balance transfer application? I am thinking of doing balance transfer into my OCBC Titanium card from Citi card to enjoy the 0% interest for 6 months.

I want to make sure the balance transfer is completed before the payment due date of Citi card.

Better ask this question in the Balance Transfer thread...

Good effort by BNM
.... Zeti forgot to add : RM50 GST applies to those earning RM36k per annum or less ONLY.

The SMS and PIN is very good....

QUOTE
Further Enhancements to Credit Card Infrastructure Security
In the effort to further enhance credit card security and to promote public confidence in the usage of credit cards as a safe payment instrument, effective 1 January 2012, transaction alerts via Short Messaging Service (SMS) will be implemented by card issuers for their cardholders after transactions are performed. This will be followed by the implementation of the Personal Identification Number (PIN) verification for all card transactions from 1 January 2015 onwards.

I don't quite agree.
Service tax should be imposed on those earning 36k and above.
For those below 36k, they are already controlled by new rules and regulations.

Added on March 18, 2011, 12:51 pm
how about those jobless but rich ppl ? also cannot own cc ?
*
If you are already earning lots of $$$, you should be financially sound, thus don't need RM50 to teach me how to use a CC lah.
RM50 GST for those below RM36k is to prevent them from falling into debt trap.
