Hi all!

I am planning to get D7000 with 2 lens, a portrait lens and multi-purpose lense.

The Nikkor 35mm 1.8G looks like a catch for portrait lens, but now I'm not sure what to get for my multi-purpose lens.

Should I get a Tamron 18-200mm f/3.-5.6 lens? Or the Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6 lens? Or should I just get the kitlens 18-105mm?

I read reviews regarding Tamron's distortion, but if I get the 55-200mm, I am afraid I might need to use 18mm zoom. Suggestions?

A multipurpose lens should be something like 18-55, 18-105, 18-200 for example. But not the 55-200. That is a telephoto and no longer a multipurpose.

the RS-Sport is more curved & comes with the 'Brad" attachment to keep the strap from moving forward ....

as for the RS-5 & RS-7, i prefer the padding of the RS-7 more ...

regarding the BR strap, when attached to the camera, the camera will upside down is it? is it safe when u move around as the camera it self will keep moving..eventhough there's a 'locking' system on the strap, yet as u move, it will move. expecially when 24-70 / 70-200 attached..it will swing the lens all around.. this keep playing in my mind..

Added on April 12, 2011, 1:14 amplus, i still can't verify for the nikon club..

Whoa, quite a number of people joined the Dark Side (Nikon) and using D7000.

But I'm still using D3000, sooner or later it will be an ancient entry. LOL!
