anyone got issue with openssh and winSCP?

openssh installed via cydia, first time can connect with winSCP without any issue
but any other connection after that are rejected by openssh

googled for some solution, reboot the phone still the same, re-install openssh also same, uninstall openssh, then i tried delete all associated folders & files, and re-install again, and it work for the 1st time, then subsequent connections are all rejected.

Any solution? btw, i'm using JB 4.3.1

iPhone 4 , version 4.3 . does it have jailbreak ?
can you link me to how to jailbreak it , and is it stable already ?
and i'm using a mac btw , does that make any difference from windows in jailbreaking the iPhone ?

Thanks for the replies. I am going to send in my Iphone Maxis for warranty and most probably would get another set. Looks like all my old SHSH blobs can be deleted.

Haha.. If I were to access my account using other PC, I won't be posting it here. The bank officer told me the transaction was made at 1.28pm during my lunch hour, that's y I am so sure I didn't make any purchase using other PC.

I have been using jailbroken IP4 8 months and so far I have no issue on this and I totally think that it's safe...until today....Well... If no one has such experience b4, then serve this for a pre-caution to everyone.

Open sbsettings and type in the wifi ip address into winscp.
Make sure iPhone screen is on to connect.

At least read the 1st page for Christ sake

Iphone 4 now have ios 4.3.2 and can be jailbreaked using redsnow. No diff.

Mac actually has more options to jailbreak than using a PC (especially Pwnagetool)

As for your Q's the dev-team does not spend time jailbreaking every firmware .... they jailbreak firmware that are susceptible to the exploit they have. Once that particular firmware has been jailbroken then us users are then told to upgrade to that particular firmware at that particular time.

That is how jailbreaking works.

Does WinSCP return with Access Denied when you try to login?
If yes, you may have problems with your root password.

nope, not password issue, can confirm password is correct, ip is correct, openssh is on
winSCP return "server unexpectedly closed network connection"

Try restarting both pc & iPhone.

try setting winscp from the beginning. delete current login and make a new connection, make sure u input the right username and password as mention in openssh guide.

have the same situation. end up re-install the openssh everytime i need to ssh to phone via winscp...

guyz anyone teach me how to completely clear the apps off my iphon4? i cydelete it already but when i WINsp masuk... i saw the folder name that i've delete and it's still there... is it wasting my space?

Maybe you have a fussy router like me lol. My router usually make headache when I Air Video and SSH locally. Malas to change because no budget.
