i tried redsnow and "boot as tethered now" then i can open cydia
i dont know wat should i do next?

i found out after i upgrade from 4.2.1 to 4.3.2
my memory keep running low
but i didn't install anything extra compare to 4.2.1

i restart and now cydia and safari couldnt open.
how to make it untehthered?

Some info about your device would help people to troubleshoot your problem such as:

1. What iPhone version (2g, 3G, 3Gs, 4)
2. iPhone officially unlock i.e. from Maxis, Digi, Singapore, Aus, NZ (US AT&T is carrier locked)
3. Using Win or Mac to JB

For starters, here are few links to help you with the JB:

1. Download redsn0w 0.9.6RC14 from here
2. Download the firmware file corresponding to your device here. Make sure you download the correct firmware (ipsw) file. The file type should be ***.ipsw
3. Follow the guide here according to your device, firmware version, pc or mac

p/s - redsn0w 0.9.6rc14 only support untethered jailbreak for firmware 4.3.2 and you might as well download firmware umbrella to save your SHSH blobs for future jailbreak.

You have a tethered version of the jailbreak. Means everytime you boot your fon, it needs to be connected to the jailbreak. Only thing you can do is do a new jailbreak with a untethered version.

downloaded REDSNOW and use it to JB my 4.3 (download the firmware file as well)
i tried JB but couldnt open cydia n safari
after tat, i tried tethered and i can open both... everything go fine
but i try restart my phone, then cydia n safari couldnt open again
now i JB it to tethered version

Why not you download 4.3.2 ipsw. Then put your iDevice into DFU mode. Shift + restore and select the ipsw you downloaded.

After fully restored, only perform Jailbreak using redsn0w again? Its untethered thou. So, why not?

When you say memory is low, what does that mean?

When I was on 4.2.1, my free memory after each reboot will be about 350-360MB (SBSettings information), when I installed 4.3.2, I'm looking at 319-321MB after each reboot so ye, 4.3.2 does eat into your free memory but I suspect it is due to the extra features (Personal Hotspot, iTunes Home Sharing) that was installed into the new firmware.

Then, cydia has some problems then.
Try jailbreaking in the future, cydia servers were just hit with failure...

Run redsnow normally(untether) without selecting just boot tehered only.

1st of all, the jailbreak software only support firmware 4.3.2 for untethered JB. Firmware 4.3 is not supported in redsn0w. That's why you are encountering such problem. Follow the guide that I've posted by upgrading to 4.3.2. Download the firmware directly and not thru iTunes.

Now your problem is clear. You're trying to use a firmware 4.3 that is not supported by redsn0w.

Download/upgrade your iPhone 4 to 4.3.2 and run redsn0w again

This is why we asked that for those asking for help to clearly state their make and model so that we can give a clear and concise answer. Otherwise we will be guessing about your device/firmware and ending up not helping you much.

I've noticed this as well. I didn't manage to download it via iTunes. Keep getting server error so I downloaded the IPSW directly from Apple. Follow the Guide in iClarified http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=14562 and in that page, there is a link to where you can download the IPSW directly.

Follow the guide and you should be good to go.

You will need to unlock it. First Jailbreak it first, then only unlock.
4.1 IOS you can use limera1n Jailbreak. After done jailbreaking, then follow steps provided here on how to unlock.
