Just got my iphone 4 with ios 4.3.1 jailbroken. The status seems very convincing.

Yet there r some of the themes that need to be modified to suit the new ios 4.3.1. Meaning if u r kind of creative type of person and u love to have ur iphone seems different from others, u may have some issues with the themes setup. There r some issues with some of the apps offered by Cydia too and I believe the developer r trying their level best to get them upgraded to suit the new ios.

Other than the mentioned above, ios 4.3.1 jailbroken can be considered stable.

I have jailbroken my iphone 4 ios4.3.2 since 2 weeks ago. Before that, everything works fine and no leak of info.

Until today, when I proceed with an free updates of my apps using iTune, a message pop up and saying that someone access to my account using a different PC. That's prompt me up... something fishy had happened.

I quickly called up my credit card issuer and found that there is a purchase has been done without my knowledge using iTune. Luckily there is only 1 purchase.

I suspected it was due to few apps I installed from Cydia few days ago.

Anyone have similar experience? Anyone have any idea how they can get hold of my iTune details?

Haha.. If I were to access my account using other PC, I won't be posting it here. The bank officer told me the transaction was made at 1.28pm during my lunch hour, that's y I am so sure I didn't make any purchase using other PC.

I have been using jailbroken IP4 8 months and so far I have no issue on this and I totally think that it's safe...until today....Well... If no one has such experience b4, then serve this for a pre-caution to everyone.

if u r using a Mac to jailbreak, u may try the following:
1. look for the following file in folder /etc/hosts (this is a file without extension)
2. Edit the file.
3. Removing the whole line that contains gs.apple.com such as "127.0.0.1 gs.apple.com"
4. Save the file and reboot.

if u r using Windows, then do the following:
1. look for the following file in folder C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (this is a file without extension)
2. Open the file with Notepad.
3. Removing the whole line that contains gs.apple.com such as "127.0.0.1 gs.apple.com"
4. Save the file and reboot.

So you mean when drag a line with contains gs.apple.com to C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts ..
So the host.txt <-- remove ( txt ) ? I'll try it ..

There is a file named "host" in the folder. No need to input a new one or copy a new one. Just open the "host" file with Notepad and edit as stated.

Good luck.
