Withdraw every single sen when i opt for early retirement. The staff ask whether i want to maintain the account with minimum balance and i said no. Because of current low ifd nterest rate , i decided to contribute back. Imagine my surprise when i login to my old account and it was available with RM0.00 balance. Transfer via fpx and it was reflected almost instantly in the account.

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Dec 5 2021, 05:09 PM) Accounts which are closed will still show in their system. But it is actually 'closed'... but still can receive money. Thanks. Already transfer since early in the year. Lets see what happens. Maybe will lose a few k interest at mostGot counter staff accidentally entered into my wife's closed account before. Took a few visits to settle that. The closed account will not show in other provider (e.g. S**pee, K**le etc). No guarantee will get interest or not also. If I were you I just open new one. |

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Dec 5 2021, 05:09 PM) Accounts which are closed will still show in their system. But it is actually 'closed'... but still can receive money. You are right about that. So after making that mistake, i did another one in Jan 2022. I visited the sspn office near my place, and the counter staff assured me that the account is still active and has been auto activated upon my previous fpx.Got counter staff accidentally entered into my wife's closed account before. Took a few visits to settle that. The closed account will not show in other provider (e.g. S**pee, K**le etc). No guarantee will get interest or not also. If I were you I just open new one. I transferred another deposit in but this time using Maybank pay. A week later the deposit is nowhere to be found unlike fpx which shows immediately. Took me a few weeks to get all my funds back. Even if you close your account but online your account will still be showing and using fpx it will enter but other than that like using Maybank pay the fund will be stuck somewhere. Horror if you did not monitor it then. |

QUOTE(flashy4896 @ Feb 12 2022, 07:18 PM) i see. all the while im just using it for take the interest and withdrawal only. s i just leave it like this and continue to deposit will do right even im exceeded 30 years old Yes you can do that but deposit n withdraw is not a good idea as there is the cut out date which will cause losses in dividend calculation. I am also using it for temporary parking in place of placing fixed deposit at the moment.I would advise you not to close your accoun but maintain RM20 inside as you imagine the problem i am having with my closed account will occur when you try open another account later with your own name. QUOTE(yklooi @ Feb 15 2022, 06:47 PM) yes,...you are not mistaken,....it was for the year 2019 loyalty bonus campaign.... I think something wrong from the link you posted. It was 1% bonus and if not mistaken only condition is cannot withdraw within the campaign period. The promotional period was from Jan 1 until April 30, 2019. The reward would automatically be deposited for those who met the criteria, he added. Wan Saiful said among the criteria for eligibility was that SSPN-i account holders opened their accounts before 2016 and made deposits into the account between 2016 and 2018. There must be no withdrawals made between 2016 and 2018, and that there must be a minimum of RM1,000 in the accounts as of Dec 31, 2018. “They must also accumulate at least RM500 in savings during the promotion period without any withdrawals from any account under the same account holder’s name,” he added. The maximum amount to be given would be RM8,000 per account. https://m-update.com/2019/01/29/sspn-i-educ...tra-0-5-reward/ Maybe 2019 terms are different from latter years. I imagine ptptn would come under pressure not to declare high dividend . Now Kwsp will also be in the spotlight, no chance of high dividend cempedaklife liked this post

QUOTE(cempedaklife @ Feb 22 2022, 03:03 PM) not just compare i think. Lucky i dump in last year for extra 1% ganjaran. This year aready withdraw all my fd to dumpin but with disappointing dividend may need to reconsider. But anyway better than FD.. i think it makes sense for them to put most of the money in more safe investment like bond and FD, and as we know how these goes lately. but then again 3% is really reality hit hard. |

QUOTE(!@#$%^ @ Feb 22 2022, 08:52 PM) that only they know. i've been active in the finance threads, and i've seen members ridiculing other investment vehicles in favour of sspn. sharing is caring? who know? that's 1% of care. We are in a discussion forum so must not be selfish and share what is good and what is bad. !@#$%^ liked this post

QUOTE(Avangelice @ Feb 22 2022, 08:19 PM) I don't know why everyone is disappointed. I put this 8k for my tax relief which nets me a return if I remember right nearly 1k plus Haha. Its because a number of us withdraw all our FD and dump it in. 1k saving we want but on top of that our funds are many times x 8k so its a bit disappointing seeing how we regard it as the best FD around with 100% government gurantees. |

QUOTE(cempedaklife @ Feb 23 2022, 11:02 AM) lol...almost did something wrong. Yup too many accounts can be confusing. Together with my wife account and also my children own name accounts, i transferred wrong account a few times in January this year. for those who are unaware, you can check your eligibility for kesetiaan campaign here: https://www.ptptn.gov.my/Ganjaran/Utama but that's not my main point, for those who have more than a kid account. the eligibility is per kid, it seems. coz through this link i saw my eldest daughter account eligible, but not the youngest one. but i believe you cant take out from all accounts during that period to be eligible also. just FYI. luckily i topup to the correct account yesterday. |

QUOTE(familyfirst3 @ Feb 23 2022, 12:44 PM) I am using it not for tax relief. One of my account is used for temporary parking of unused funds.
