QUOTE(Jack&Guild @ Feb 23 2023, 04:30 PM) The key point is for income tax exemption. RM8k exemption quite meaningful. Dividend assume as extra bonus. Depends on which side of the fence you are on. For retirees , sspn during low fd rates years has shown to give decent dividends especially with the ganjaran bonus coupled with fast and effortless online withdrawal. If the dividend par with last year then most probably most of us will be in for the ganjaran only and immediate withdrawal after the lock in period. wongmunkeong liked this post

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Feb 27 2023, 06:35 PM) lolz Touchpoint is recylced from last budget as everything is also ciplak as MPs are saying. So it seems epf voluntary contribution may not see an increase as even sspn pegawai are unsure of the tax relief.really joke... even gomen agencies not clear what's going on... EPF too... MoF really did bad job this time.... on explaining what's in & out for Budget 2023 This post has been edited by magika: Feb 27 2023, 07:09 PM |

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Feb 28 2023, 01:30 PM) That's what I said. Except you need to +8000. Got geran sepadan i think1. Yes 2. Yes 3. Don't think SSPN savings have anything to do with PTPTN loan. The loan is between student and PTPTN, the savings is between you and PTPTN. Students will have to open their own account (own name not your name) for PTPTN loan purpose. |

It would be an interesting year with the tax relief not being extended. It would need a few months when tax payers of M40s realised it. Would then see whether sspn will declare how much they collected versus withdrawals.
Without tongkat will these types or majority of tongkat based schemes makes it on their own ? This post has been edited by magika: Mar 1 2023, 10:14 AM |

Quite number of contributors has withdrawn most of their funds by this time poising to re contribute back once ganjaran is announced. Just an afterthought, possible that no more ganjaran for this year or more strict revised tnc. Going to be quite disappointing for lots of contributor if it materialised. Must restrategise new investment option.

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Mar 5 2023, 10:56 PM) Users who deposit in order to gain tax relief, if no more tax relief for 2023 and interest rate is lower than FD, why would they leave anything inside (including funds previously deposited 8k per year etc)? FD is generally PIDM assured, currently promo rate 4% or slightly more. Yup promo rate is 4% or more. But enlighten me where to find fd that you can withdraw anytime without interest penalty , maybe a month interest penalty. MUM liked this post
