I deposit 8k on 2nd Jan 2020 even theres no 2020 transaction history the system still show it in the 2019 history..

System updated so 2020 transaction has already been reflected..

if i make withdrawal now, will I entitle for the dividend that announce later?

depends on when you deposit.

I don't see any dividend paid out in the 2020 statement, how did  u derive the 3.315%?
Looks like only the 1Jan deposits r in d statement, those deposited after that have yet to be credited.

I just did the calculation...
Latest balance (minus) last year balance (minus) bank-in 8k in Dec = dividend

Dividend (divide) last year balance = 3.315%

Am I calculate correctly?

Btw, can i withdraw all the $ from sspn office or bank islam this month, bank-in all the $ (plus) 8k by end of the year....will I get the tax relief?

PTPTN expects competitive dividend for National Education Savings Scheme this year

BUTTERWORTH (Dec 24): National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) expects a competitive dividend distribution for National Education Savings Scheme (SSPN) this year.

Its chairman Wan Saiful Wan Jan said the expectation was based on the current good performance.

"As of the third quarter of 2019, 4.26 million accounts have been opened since the launching with total savings of nearly RM5 billion so far. In terms of new accounts this year, 347,709 accounts have been opened as at Sept 30.

“We will announce in mid-January the dividend for 2019," he told reporters after attending the 'Back to School' programme here last night.

relax. dividend will announce soon (end Jan) and account will be updated as well

It's not deposited on 1st Jan, it is declared later on (end Jan, or Feb, even late as May), then when it reflect on statement they will put the date as 1st Jan.

For those who want to invest SSPN, Boost got pay bill mission rm500 get rm6 and rm400 get rm5

pay bill mission apply to sspn??? i though pay bill means for unifi, telekom, etc..

statement already updated .. our floating money has come back to ground..
