my main purpose of depositing in sspn is for the tax relief only...the 4% interest is not that much of a value to me

Don't mind sharing what investments you do that you can put in or withdraw any amount of money and guaranteed significantly more than 4%?

But some are over the counter and the trouble for 0.2-0.4% interest, i am not sure it is worth it.

FD is for quick liquidity.
Not sure how fast is SSPN withdrawal.

Heard SSPN withdrawal is about a week or slightly more, which is quite liquid. So i still don't understand the need for doing this deposit then withdrawal and then deposit process.

Some people could have very tight cash flow.
They just want to utilize the tax relief by just get it captured in the system and withdraw it afterwards.

My brother also has the same skeptical mindset even though I encourage him to dump money for tax relief purpose.

The trouble, time and costs to fill up form at SSPN and otc bank into FD to get that special rate. And doing this every year for that 0.2-0.4% interest while ignoring the transaction costs of that.

i am wondering what are the reasons other than interest rates, trust issues, and need for quick access to cash.

Dividend calculation based on average minimum monthly balance says if Dec your minimum is RM100, max RM200, so the dividend will based on RM100 instead of RM200

hmm.gif I am just curious of this +

i may be wrong, but i think it is not that way....

for if i had min RM500 per month balance......not transaction for the whole year.

Balance each month, Jan 500, Feb 500, Mar 500, till Dec 500 my total in there is just 500

but if you were to "+" each months as in your calculation...it would end up at 6000
