Now just use maybank cc

I have 4 maybank cc..

im thinking to cut my amex platinum and signature, because i rarely use it nowsday..no TP awarded topup using ewallet. need to pay for SST somemore..
For TP, im focus using amex reserve
For cash back, im using barcelona

Amex give 5% cashback during weekend leh. barcelona only 2%.

Hi all, what is the easiest way to cancel a CIMB credit card in 2020? I received two cards back when I first registered many years back. One of which has never been used, but have been charged the annual RM25 Service Tax since reintroduction of SST.

No longer able absorb these fees. Any advice is appreciated. Do I call them? Email? or do I physically need to go to the branch where I first applied for the cards?

Call the number at the back of your CC, the CS will submit your request to cancel the CC and it should be completed in 1 working day.

CIMB cancellation is quite fast, morning called. Checked evening card disappear from CIMBclicks

Maybank is even faster

The moment you told the person over the phone you want to cancel, you will see the card status is immediately changed to Accoount closed in internet banking

But i never cancelled my MBB cards.

I wanted to cancel my mbb2 card MasterCard (not activated due to swapping to visa, got the Visa card already), can I just call their CS for cancellation or I need to surrender the card at the branch?
