usb speed related?

just passed one paper today. got 5 papers left of my final exam. tomorrow no paper so i thought i'll rest my mind first.

Decided to try the latest MIUI x-part by xavierjohn but i cant get it to boot.

any clue why? tried repartitioning my card with and without swap, reverted back to stock hboot and even tried n1table. but stucked at splash screen so long~~

any clue why? asked in the thread and i guess its less busy time at xda this time. thought would get answer faster in here.

installing Villain_Au 2.1, restart, and now in boot loop..
help?

lol, out of all the variations of MIUI, you picked this

MIUI XJ X PART is a D2EXT ROM right? are you sure your configuration is right?

there is no need for gelabah

did you wipe before installing the ROM? have you tried reflashing the ROM again?

why my nandroid always mess up?
when i rstore, it didnt go back exactly as i backed it up..
usually it just restore d ROM and it becomes as i first flash it.
sd corrupted or recovery?
tried both cwm and amonra..

i had this prob with cwm, the i changed to amonra.
it ok for a while. but then the prob comes back..

i tried all ROMs i've flashed recently.
CM 7, CM 6, MIUI, LeeDroid, rcmix s..

eh i only see this version of MIUI on xda. its the most active one. and i choose x-part cuz it is said to be the fastest of all versions. i dont want d2w cuz its unstable. a2sd+, i have long known it so might wanna try something else.

i wiped, erased system using fastboot, tried reflashing 5 times, waited 1 hour ++~~

X-Part is for D2Ext..... "

need EXT4.

- I named it X-PART, the site called it xpartitions
- X-PART = Will work on
2 Partitions: fat32+ext4, fat32=remaining, ext4=1000MB;
3 Partitions: fat32+ext4+ext4, fat32=remaining, ext4=1000MB, ext4=300MB;
4 Partitions: fat32+ext4+ext4+linux-swap, fat32=remaining, ext4=1000MB, ext4=300MB, linux-swap=100-200MB;

I also want to try D2EXT but does Class play a big difference ? I really CBF re-partitioning 1GB.. + I only have 8GB atm.

PARTITIONS I TESTED THIS
2 Partitions: fat32+ext4, fat32=remaining, ext4=512MB;
2 Partitions: fat32+ext3, fat32=remaining, ext3=512MB;
2 Partitions: fat32+ext3, fat32=remaining, ext3=512MB-1000MB;
(was converted to Fat32+EXT4+EXT4 when i flashed the rom)
Recommended to use parted magic or gparted to partition!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- If you have an EXT3 this Rom install script will try to Update it to EXT4
- I will always stripped the rom of /data/apps so restore your apps with MIUI backup or Titanium
- Other roms i will use as base will be the developer's translation and effort so credits go to them for that

I'm using amonra, no problem
just make sure don't mesh between amonra and cwm should be fine.
coz using amonra backup then change to cwm restore sure no go...

yeah..i backup and restore using the same recovery..
maybe prob with my sdcard. will format it and then see how it goes..
but i notice d dots when performing backup and restore in amonra are not as many as before.
before the dots got around 5-6 lines before backup finished. now only 3 lines, then finished.
maybe had something to do with that

question.. will miui work on cm7 hboot? the last time i installed miui part of my apps can't be installed..

it depends on the ROM size, the recent MIUI_Au is small enough to fit into CM7 Hboot

Anyone tried this HiApk GingerSense2.3.3(base)Rom V3.7with 3D & FX Features??

It is without App2SD but is smooth.
