Nothing is impossible when it comes to credit cards. Seriously, I noted that CIMB have been advertising that the VS is reserved for graduates and professionals. And if you are a professional, you already qualify for the VS whereas one earning RM120K/year but not a professional may not even be eligible for the VS.

Anyway, with Citibank and HLB VS requirement now below RM100K, I suppose CIMB have to follow them.

If only CIMB Visa Signature has promotion like swipe 3x, get RM50 rebate or something...

We're shocked when the marketing announced that visa signature need deg or professional cert, some of our customer are businessman and most of it do not have the cert. we're in sales dept feel very dissapointed. We losing a lot of potential customers. We're trying as best as we can to receive any feedback from customer to send to the management.

as my personal point of view, visa signature should have cash back rebates and bonus point at the same time. :-P

it depends actually but I'm not that really good knowledge in preferred banking,but somehow they (preferred staff) know your financial background, if you're eligible to get, straight away they give you to apply.

CIMB/DA is offering the retail purchase instalment. with the following interest rate:-
a) 10 months instalment -4%
b) 20 months - 6%
c) 30 months - 7%

the interest need to be paid upfront on the 1st month, for 30 months min amount will be RM3000. If i opt for the 30 months instalment, anyone know how to calculate annualised interest???

CIMB revised tiered interest rate and late payment charges starting May 1st 2012. I believe all other banks going to follow soon.
