Yah, the 15% discount at Eraman is really good

Replacement Card for my DirectAccess arrived via normal mail.... took approx 4 days.

My renewed card arrived via PosLaju.
Anyway, I received it and cancelled it.

Why you cancel it?

Because CIMB no more offer 0% Balance transfer. (IINM current offer is for new cardmember only)
Secondly, CIMB card privileges does not really suit my needs. (I can't say it sucks because some ppl find CIMB card very useful).

I cancelled too, somemore they offer me 10k point, I said no... don't want

me , still holding petronas platinum , lazy go to terminate ... but this three mth got 8% cashback for petronas petrol on every 1st week of the mth , so utilize it first and see how later

If not because my DiGi 2 yrs iphone contact is tied to my DA Platinum card, I may already cancelled the card

i tot once DA card expired, it will be changed to CIMB Brand name st8 away?

No wor... they still give me a "Direct Access" CC hehehe... with newer smaller EMV chip

i agree CIMB/DA cards are less attractive now, the reason i keep it is it offers highest credit limit among all my cards.

I also got my renewed card recently, the chip on the new DirectAccess-UPM card is still the same size as previous.

did you all know that you could open a CIMB savings account Basic II via cimbclicks. The account won't charge RM8 annual fee and give u a debit MASTER CARD.
