Eheh, sorry for my ignorance it's just that I haven't been keeping up with the latest stuff regarding laptops until now (gonna study abroad soon, need to find a decent laptop). Anyway, at the moment, the specs that I have in mind are:
15 inch display (Can't stand gaming on a 14 inch)
i5 (I think i7 is an overkill for my normal usage)
4GB RAM (Any higher will be unnecessary)
GT 540M (Not much difference between that and the 550M I guess?)
and all of those are found in the K/A 53SV
I was interested in the N53SN/SV initially BUT after watching
this, I'm starting to have doubts.
Yeah, apparently the keyboard flex is one of the Asus N53's biggest setback.. but other than that, everything's good
Even my old Qosmio F60 has keyboard flex, its hard to avoid it because of the long length of the keyboard when the keypad is included
Well Nvidia's GT550M is significantly better than the GT540M... and the N53Sn is the only one having the GT550M at the moment, which makes it the best laptop for this category at the moment...
If you don't game a lot, I guess there's no real need for the GT550M, where you can go for other 15" models like HP Dv6, Acer 5750G, Dell XPS 15, N53Sv, MSI GE620

This i know, but K43Sv at SG come with 1gb GC, Msia A43Vs come with 2gb GC...
Added on April 14, 2011, 11:25 pmMy friend bought K43Sv at SG here last weekend @ S$1298 free razer mouse...

I'm not very sure about this, but it seems there are 2 variants of A43Sv (i5-2410) as well, one with 1GB, 1 with 2GB
Anyway, bro you're based in Singapore? What laptop are you looking for at the moment? Manage to find an Acer TimelineX 3830T/TG>?
