The keyboard feel on the A series isn't very good if you ask me  laugh.gif

Hmm it seems that the K53SV model on Asus's website comes in two different colours, and the keyboard is different for each colour:

This has been discussed for a great, many times already: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1814339/+20
We're aware of that website, its the source of images before the A53/N53 were released laugh.gif
If you look closely enough the buttons in the silver model seems to be sunken, very weird

Eheh, sorry for my ignorance it's just that I haven't been keeping up with the latest stuff regarding laptops until now (gonna study abroad soon, need to find a decent laptop). Anyway, at the moment, the specs that I have in mind are:

15 inch display (Can't stand gaming on a 14 inch)
i5 (I think i7 is an overkill for my normal usage)
4GB RAM (Any higher will be unnecessary)
GT 540M (Not much difference between that and the 550M I guess?)

and all of those are found in the K/A 53SV

I was interested in the N53SN/SV initially BUT after watching this, I'm starting to have doubts.

Yeah, apparently the keyboard flex is one of the Asus N53's biggest setback.. but other than that, everything's good laugh.gif
Even my old Qosmio F60 has keyboard flex, its hard to avoid it because of the long length of the keyboard when the keypad is included nod.gif
Well Nvidia's GT550M is significantly better than the GT540M... and the N53Sn is the only one having the GT550M at the moment, which makes it the best laptop for this category at the moment...
If you don't game a lot, I guess there's no real need for the GT550M, where you can go for other 15" models like HP Dv6, Acer 5750G, Dell XPS 15, N53Sv, MSI GE620 nod.gif

For K43Sv at SG, come with 3 model, think same to K53Vs ( this i not too sure ). K43Sv got i5 with 1 gb gc @ S$1098, i7 with 1gb gc @1298 and i7 with 2gb gc + blu-ray @ S$1498. No idea for Acer laptop cause i NEVER take a look for on this brand, lol. But saw Acer Timelinex 48xx before la, so far only saw few people selling Acer 4750G i7, 8gb ram, 1gb gc (nvidia optimus) at S$900 cause they re-new internet contract and get this laptop for free. Then they dont want this laptop so sell at low price... whistling.gif
