asus lah..msi i not sure but i heard some said not bad.. u can tried msi.. but i really dislike msi mobo.. amd sure hot as well as intel.. i think no problem liau.. triple-core processor leh.. nvr heard got ppl mentioned got heat management leh..

yameh? going to die mean haven't triple K ma.. (kong ka kiau) so use triple core processor sure KKK faster hahahaha... that's y u mentioned heat issue on that thing!

AMD also has their quad core Phenom II X4 Mobile range which is essentially a lower powered desktop quad core Athlon II X4. New generation AMD procs are much cooler than their predecessors.

Can safely say these ones can last you a while with your usage. If you want cheaper can get those using AMD Fusion APU.

Actually, it's known as the A43SV here.

I won't say not recommended, but it's up to your usage and budget. Fusion based laptops is good value for money in the netbook sector while the Phenom II X3 on the X42DE is good for rendering work at a very economical price. But then, the Intel based laptops are generally better value for money.

my 1st amd lappy is x42de.. switch from intel to amd.. just wanna to try... so far,  i'm very satisfied with the performance.. 

erm, i just switch it.. so far, i'm ok with this phenom II triple core... compare to other amd type... yes, i admit i still prefer intel due to its performance maybe cz i still new amd gua...  currently i'm satisfied with my x42de.. hihi...

We can't chase technology. All we can do is get the best one for ourselves at that point in time and be satisfied.

plis la asus malaysia..bring in the 1215B e350..we need this..

Very much an Asus fan.

Currently using an A42JV.
Performance difference. The E-350 is way more powerful compared to the C-50. Heck, I can even run Crysis 2! The 1215B I'm looking at comes with the E-350 and Free DOS at the same price.

erm, normal tempt leh.. <65 only..if not use cooler.. well, if i do use, tempt <58 XD, ok la.. just do lite gaming cz i'm not heavy gamers.. since many coding need to do.. so this lappy suite me.. long bat life.. can tahan for 1hr45min... in bat saving mode.. if not mistaken..

o.O i oso play dota and sometimes fifa.. but getting lesser and lesser spend time with games..  if play games, i usually open bat andif bat is fully charge, i open da bat and use external power.. XD

Fifa requirements aren't that high.

Asus seems to be able to get things a little bit budget than Acer and have certain built than no others did it, most notebook expect eeePc range comes with 2 years warranty, how is the after sale? Hmm, tempting indeed

After sales well, there's nothing to shout about. I sent my current laptop in before for a HDD swap. Quite painless process. Just was left without a lappie for 3 days for testing and replacement. That's just my case. Not sure about everyone else.
