what so great about MIUI? the UI is not my taste(because iphone-ish?)

Lol, it's about choice. And with MIUI, I feel Android is getting closer to the polished vibe of iPhone, not being iPhonish, just being more refined than normal Android. And also, there are thousands of themes, you can get closer to the iPhone feel or closer to the Honeycomb feel. I love it. Not to mention it's fast. biggrin.gif

RIL polling basically causes this: when you reboot you phone, you need to lock and unlock it. That's a bug in CM7.

well, i dunno much about the earlier cm7 kernel that u need to flash in the first step, but to get a wifi working in rc1, flash bilboa's cm7 kernel again. i'm just reading the thread, and if u want confirmation, ask freakfingers12. he's our man cause he's very active in the MIUI xda thread. biggrin.gif

that is the only one main reason i'm still not flashing to miui cause i'm a heavily camera user. its because it is one of the cm7 bugs and probably we just have to wait for samsung to release the source for GB to get it fix soon. im just hoping the fix will come us sooner than samsung. brows.gif

For MIUI camera, go to settings and turn off auto focus. Now that should work better.
For default camera, mmg like that d. is CM7 fault. tongue.gif

from the picture momax batt doesnt look all too bulky, plus with the nice backplate they give,

but please do give us the HANDs-ON review of it

i believe kmrdeva was the first to use it probably 1-2 weeks back, if i recall correctly he's quite happy with the performance, it lasts 2days with his 3G on all the time.
