Hmm...looks like MIUI 2.3.3 ROM development will stop at Beta 6 for now......sad news.
I was looking forward to a stable version.

Anyway, downloading Beta 6 now...

before i flash simply galaxy, i was using Darky 9.3 wipe version. the battery drain very fast..

im using darky v9.4 no wipe... battery life better than v9.3 and it feel smoother...

my phone is bricked and i managed to enter into download mode using usb jig.
then i tried to flash speedmod kernel usning odin by following instruction here http://touristinparadise.blogspot.com/2010...to-install.html
now it is stuck (i think)
actually, how long it take for odin to flash?
do i need to flash stock firmware as in first page or can just flash speedmod kerenel?

yay managed to flash to MIUI...

phone working, just external sd card not working yet...

battery drain like water down the drain...

overall transition was ok, not too choppy after flashing beta8r2 over beta7

It is solved. This is based off MIUI.cn preview and it's done from ground up by Chinese miui, only CM7 bug left is RIL Polling. 

what RIL polling... phone rebooting after flashing ^^

oh icic... ya thats what happen when i start the camera app... i need to lock and unlock to be able to see the preview...

i tot thats the pre-requisite  b4 flashing to MIUI? there's this CM7 initial kernel file to flash through odin?

thanks nasrul thanks freakfingers12.... its working now... another thing... MIUI Camera is kinda faulty... lags badly and then it'll fc all of a sudden... the other camera apps works fine just kinda choppy

i find the JPG and JPJ is really snappy ... first asian rom and its great, but i had some problems with JPJ as my music player wouldnt auto start while using headphones so after a few days i change to gingerbread ....

yea, it was disabled in the codes .... dont wan to edit it till official source codes come out, i am sure some devs will enable it once they have reached a certain level of stability .. hehe

sweethoney also has this, but not as smooth as gingerbread's tv-off animation.

Yup, read in the posts but it is not in the first page. that's why I skipped that step. miui rc2 is nowhere near a release candidate status. it should still be labeled as a beta.
You need 7zip http://downloads.sourceforge.net/sevenzip/7z920.exe to get zimage. then create a .tar file using 7zip and put that zimage inside.

I tried twice rooting by fuguroot and still fail. will try another method

Update: I was trying to reflash xxjvk when my desktop suddenly shuts by itself! I was worried about bootloader corruption. luckily I still can go into download mode! Now i've finished flashing xxjvk for the third time 

i just flash xxjvk. imei is now restored.

Same here, waiting for some sifus to advise which is a safer route to take towards XXJVK...
