Just some tips on Cash Deposit Machine:

When you insert cash in the machine and it keep rejecting the notes that you replaces ( normaly happen to new notes )    please dont keep inserting the cash because these CDM machines have timing, if a transaction cant be fulfiled within certain amount of times, by defaults it will force accept your cash and the cash you failed to bank in will go the rejected notes bin.

The next thing you see is that the CDM will come out this message " OUT OF SERVICE ". The person queing behind you will start cursing you. Why i say this is that customer have complaint why the CDM do this and that, scolding us with all the #&^&*# and when we go and check the journal report we can see this customer was trying to insert the notes for more than 5 times which the machines unable to recognise it and it will kick start this step by force the cash into the reject bin.

However different banks setup their machines differently it depends on how sensitive they set it. From what i experience HSBC & MBB had it.

What I am looking for now is to be able to settle with just ONE card, and open an online saving/current account with them so to perform the transaction online for FREE.

But I think this is difficult as the rewards is going to get more attractive'r' from bank to bank...

I opened a OCBC iQ Basic account (maintain RM500 in account to avoid service charge) which offers five(5) FREE Interbank Giro (IBG) to pay other banks CC bills.

I got charged RM1.00 each when I used CimbClicks to transfer to settle my SCB and OCBC bills (I-REMMIT CHARGE).
As I know, the first 2 transactions of the months are only 50 cents. Anyone can clarify?

Not possible for single cash deposit for multiple credit card accounts payment. But it works for cheque payment. Just tried last night!

But is all the card due dates the same?
Or you have 8 different cards from the same issuer???

Hi there, I haven't make any payment via cash deposit machine.
Let say my payment bill is RM100.85, how do I pay this bill over cash deposit machine? pay RM101 instead? Is that okay to pay more? Thanks for reply.

Minimum thru Cash Deposit Machine is RM110 as they accept RM100, RM50, RM10 notes only.

paying on9 is better among all..but still got that RM1 charged if u pay from different bank

The correct charges should be from free to RM2, depends on which bank you are transferring the money out from and your account type.

Hmm any option to use online banking to settle your credit card bill full amount automatically every month? Not free to go pay bill every month, always forget.
