QUOTE(gark @ Nov 1 2011, 05:17 PM) Hmm any option to use online banking to settle your credit card bill full amount automatically every month? Not free to go pay bill every month, always forget. It's Standing Instruction to deduct from CASA, chargeable RM2 every time. Get your brain upgraded lah to NOT FORGET !!!

Maybank BSA supposedly charge 0.50 for the first two GIRO transactions per month, why the teller said it's only apply to ATM or M2U transaction? What the heck?

Are you sure you have a Basic Savings Account ? What is the account listed as under M2U ?

Yea, you better check the type of account first. They might have opened a wrong account for you.

Can I know which branch that you went to?? Honestly, I haven't tried IBG via BSA... There's no mention that RM2 is IBG for OTC QUOTE 6 over-the-counter (OTC) visits. 8 free ATM cash withdrawals. No fee shall be imposed for non-cash withdrawal transactions (e.g. balance inquiry or fund transfer within Maybank). First 2 GIRO transactions in a month at a fee of RM0.50 per transaction and RM2.00 from the 3rd transaction onwards

Pay your bill by check - they don't charge for that. Or by using your bank's online bill pay system. Always pay your bill in full on time - that way you don't have any interest to pay. If you don't have the money to buy something - don't charge it. Wait until you can afford it. Buying on credit used to be called 'Buying on the never-never' in England. Because you never paid it off and therefore you never properly owned the item. Credit cards can be very useful if used properly and carefully. Don't go into debt. Good Luck!

I personally don't think that there is any problem with surcharge on IBG transfer. If you go to the card issuing bank's branch or ATM, you will end up paying more than the IBG surcharge.

Best to own CC from the bank you have CASA with to ease payment and save on these fees (IBG)
