I'm just thinking that the FILCO's need more volume. If there's more volume, the price will go down. But how many people is willing to spend more than Rm100 for a keyboard?

As to your question, black switches are in the steelseries 6gv2 and 7G. Suggest u give it a try before buying it.

The bump in the printing should wear off soon enough. Then you'll have lower contrast keys, but they feel smooth enough.

They both should be very good choices for keyboards. But the steelseries should be better build. The XArmour, IIRC, has the same OEM with the Razer BW

Its just that it comes with chinese letterings. Otherwise, its sebjii a Das keyboard. Alternatively, you can also try taobao. The forwarding charges are not as ridiculous as the ones charged for US shipping.

Gift card you can sell. More people buy stuff from Amazon than you think. Those Blu-Ray peeps at Blu-Ray thread, they get a lot of their fix from Amazon, and are more than happy to let you part with your gift card.

To test one, go to computer shops I guess? Digital Mall + Lowyat is your best bet. I am not very sure about pc fair but they did have booth and the keyboards were on display anyway. Well its not no choice, there are plenty of places to get them. PCHOME and Taobao are nice places.

Alternatively, try 99hk.biz. His keyboards are not the cheapest, shipping is about RM60 via EMS the last time I asked. Maybe you can find something you like there.

I don't like blue if i am spamming keys, because the stuck in the middle feeling of the blues, felt a bit wierd.

Anyway, I found a keyboard in my friend's storeroom





Double shot keycaps for a rubber dome, plus it came with a metal backplate. I had it opened up, and there was the signature plastic film matrix well known in rubber dome world. Too bad this thing feels shittier than my RM20 logitech, the keycap does look doubleshot Although it looks a little bit ALPS-ish, but the connector is not centered like how ALPS are

400g is the weight of the keyboard without considering the packaging and whatnot. The real weight is better to ask around when people get them

I never counted how many type of ALPS switches, but it sure looks like there are a lot of them.

If you hate the Black switches these are not for you. They require more force to actuate base on what I have read.

If you want to get a Mechanical Keyboard look for others, there are plenty out there.
If you want it because Razer has teh bling blings, then by all means, that will make you a very happy person.

Can you return it then? The small right shift and the non-ANSI placement of the \| key was a deal breaker for the Ducky I got. Sold it after 3 days instead of returning it since it was from Taiwan.
