Touchscreen keyboards are useful in cellphones, but other than that, it is just a novelty.
I wouldn't want to use something that has no feedback and I'd have to look at the keys every time I type.
Plus, rubber domes should cost 10 times cheaper than touchscreen keyboards no matter how cheap they can make those touchscreen keyboards.

Even stupid and mushy RM10 keyboards feels better than them touchscreen keyboards

You should look for it in taobao, and ship it together with your keyboard. There are some KBC 37 keys with blanks either in PBT or ABS form in different color than the one you want.
I don't think you can find 104/108 key blanks, but imsto, the admin from KBC, has got some white engraved, and black engraved PBTs for sale.

ABS makes the keyboard all shiny at heavily used spots, while normal on non frequent used ones. So you probably need to change the spacebar every now and then on ABS. PBTs don't shine so fast


Try it out at pc fair/lowyat. Those BW and SS keyboards are the best you can find in the stores.

They cost about RM140 after shipping. The layout is in ISO, with PBT keycaps, and the arrow keys are at a nonstandard location. I was going to go for that, but decided to look do my switch try instead

You missed the 白轴, sixty from geekhack seem to have one of these.

I ordered myself a Model M. Apparently the shipping weight for each of these are around 3 - 3.5kg. But i found a cheap per kg shipper and the total cost end up alright

The difference between both label is the year they were made. It seems there are some minor quality difference, but based on some opinions, they are just the same.

Considering how long it took for the MO to end, 5 weeks is like nothing

In comparison Leopold Tenkeyless are RM360 after conversion in Korea, and US$99 from elitekeyboards.

Guess Edifier/Moderno and gang, brought it in a perhaps a decent price.

Try lelong for the FILCO blanks. They are very very overpriced

Can't find any blanks in Taobao. Only ones available are the singapork or the lelong FILCO blanks

You are asking whether PCHOME is safe? They are a reputable reseller in Taiwan.
If you want to safe on the cost, I'd suggest you get them through Taobao. Find the cheapest mail forwarder you can get.
Or, you could try this Taiwanese etailer called Inpad, where the Duckies are for sale at NT$2000 ea. They don't ship internationally, so you'll need a mail forwarder as well.

For RM450, consider the FILCOs sold by moderno. They are going for about Rm20 more, with NKRO

To desolder, all you need is a solder sucker or a solder braid, solder iron, and some solder. Switches can be gotten from element14.com if you want it in small quantities. They ship via GDex, free
