thanks guys! my mandarin seriously sucks.

so I've found what I want,
http://global.pchome.com.tw/?mod=item&func...3&ROWNO=15&tm=u
and when I Google translate it, this came out 'three sizes available (Chinese / English / no engraving)'. Means that I can choose which language keycaps I want?

I found out that 9008 and 9000 is selling at the same price  sweat.gif
is there any other difference other than the extra 4 keys?
*
No difference. Some people may prefer the logo, some people may not
The one available is the Chinese keycaps only for MX Brown. 9008 for Browns are sold out at PCHOME

So guys which mechanical keyboard best for gaming. So many keyboards but which is optimized for gaming purposes. I know SS 7G but other than that? How is the 7G feel like easy to press & does it have bumps like some of the mechanical keys do. Thanks.
*
Generally, Browns are good trade off between typing and gaming.
For gaming purpose, go for either Black or Red, since these are the Linear switches, i.e no bumps. No bumps means that you don't feel the bumps when you are double tapping or what not.
This is a general rule. Your mileage may vary when you get it, but from what I can tell trying linear switches, they should be nice for gaming

OMG now only announce you will bring in sleep.gif i already ordered it online.
Do you accept the warranty if i bought it from taiwan? tongue.gif
*
How much did it cost you? An arm or a Leg?
I think they dont accept warranty for parallel import, like everything that is parallel imported. Unless they are being very kind, but 99.9% wont accept

So my ''tactic'' will be try to partner up with Apple Mac(though may be hard to get it done). cool2.gif
Mac user doesn't actually care the price. What they want are just quality and uniqueness which sure Mech KB will provide it(though lack of Apple Logo...).
Bring those ''Mac'' white model with ''command'' key will sure help it even more. thumbup.gif

Ducky G2 and Noppoo don't work with Macs. Tough luck

Xarmor has got bad quality. GH hates it, some problems are posted on OCN too
Don't understand why you had to choose them 'gaming' brands when the alternatives are a plenty

The current xamor board with it's bling bling, plus it the keys look identical to blackwidows. It looked like a gaming board to me. As to the quality, most of it is from hearsay from reading these forums, so you don't have to take my word for it. As to most people here buying keyboard for gaming, I don't know, I have no idea what people here do how much gaming, but 99% of the time, my mech keyboard is for non-gaming usage.

I stand corrected. I'm not picking on you but it appeared that you preferred them gaming brand Keyboards and it seems I have something against that. Personal preference I guess. Can't stand looking at them gaming keyboards since I think most of them look ugly.

Honestly, it would be really unlucky to receive something that is DOA.
The taobao mail forwarders normally do not assume responsibility and you would need to ship it back to china, in which case, you're better off buying another one and keeping the DOA one for parts.

A better step to take is to request the sellers to test the keyboards out before they are sent.

anyway to take out the key and clean the switch(dust) safely?
*
I kinda hate the feeling when pulling out the keys. Sometimes the stem are pulled out together, in fact, i manged to pull out two stems last week and had to dismantle my ducky to open up the keyswitch and resolder them back in.

I'm using cyberclean to clean the key surfaces. As to the bottom, i think using cyberclean might not be a very good idea as some of it might get stuck if you push down the key switches. In this case, maybe consider using a can of compressed air?

wow, looks like the thread is getting more and more popular, btw i just receive my white Engraved PBT keycaps from taobao. pain in the ass with the glue.

i spent 5 hours, sanding, cleaning, recheck, sanding, rinsing with soap, and done. sanding one per one key over 104 key is really a nightmare.

it seems that cherry keycap dun have dye-subbed ones, too bad, gotta stick to my black engraved for a while
*
They do. And they cost as much as a used IBM SSK. So unless you are loaded, don't even bother.
Cherry 2Shots are more affordable.

The IBM model M uses Dye-sub keys so if you want a board with dye-sub, its the cheapest you can get. Plus if you like keyboards, you gotta have a Model M in your collection anyway

With budget of RM500 you can get literally all brands/choices of cherry brown available. drool.gif

If you feel want to save the hassle to import or incase of defects and need for warranty claim, just go for FILCO that's available locally(do note that it is quite lots cheaper in Taiwan like PChome, Inpad). The local one don't even having NKRO(which is even cheaper in foreign country), though NKRO isn't really a big fuss...

If you want to give other brand a try, you can go for Ducky, Das or even Zowie. They offer more features over normal keyboards or Filco.
*
All Majestouch-2 comes with PS2-NKRO and USB 6-KRO, no ?

After including shipping, FILCO Majestouch NKR (lets called them V1) from Taiwan are already comparable to how much they sell locally, unless you want to get the versions that they don't sell locally, such as the the blue/red, mini, or Red Tenkeyless. Even considering from taobao, the savings you get is not much, and the trade off is, you get your stuff fast, with warranty, and it's the 2nd version. I know there's no feel difference from the V1, but still, there's the placebo effect of getting new version, fast, with warranty.

Congrats to Edifier and co. for pricing it much fairly instead of the ridiculous pricing you get previously. Local prices for Majestouch-2, Filco Red 104 are even cheaper than the ones at taobao or Taiwan for that matter.

EDIT: Majestouch-2 MX Blues Tenkeyless going for $140 at Amazon. How much Czone charge again?

Yes korean
Can just buy from Leopold korea website and ship it, don't even need to forward via your wife's sister.
I shipped a keyboard to Korea once, it was RM60 via Air Parcel Method. I'm thinking the reverse is about the same

I think the price will be a tad high. I don't read Korean, care to tell us how much from Leopold.co.kr for the keyboard + shipping?

y is leopold site sell filco though?

You should wait for Cyclone's Leopold pricing and compare before you buy, then you'll know.
Some other stuff are worth the trouble getting from the Leopold website, such as the Realforce 87U, that thing is damn rare

That's a real beauty, kEazYc. Might I ask, are the keycaps ABT or PBS? I'm still unsure of how the two materials differ in terms of feel and texture. I myself have just order 2 sets of blank PBT whites and reds that should be arriving some time this week.
*
Those are ABS. They'll get shiny as time goes on.
But the feeling of blank ABS is really nice and smooth.
